So unassuming from the outside, but don't pass on this hidden gem! Beautifully decorated interior, full bar and fresh sushi. It's lively, but not noisy, and seemed to have a contingent of loyal locals. The menu is admittedly a bit eclectic, but that just means whether you're in the mood for Chinese, Japanese, or Thai food, there's some delicious in store.
Great service, good ambiance, very good Curry, mediocre sushi. The spicy shrimp curry was excellent... just the right spice and the quantity was great. We won't order sushi there anymore, though... just a matter of taste. The Chef's Special roll was entirely too sweet for our taste. They didn't seem to have an expected variety of house rolls to choose from. We will go back, but not when sushi is our goal.
Very good! Don’t let the outside fool you! The decor and atmosphere inside is very nice and cozy. The hot and sour soup was very tasty, almost with a bit of a sweet flavor. The sushi was delicious. The Spicy Thai Basil Chicken was very well prepared and flavorful, though it was not very spicy at all. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant! If you haven’t tried it, you need to put it on your list.
Great food. Great service. We had the sushi sampler and the General Tso's chicken. Both were fantastic. Our waitress was friendly and attentive to our group of 8. Will definitely be back.
This place is 5 stars plus more. Food is exceptionally great - consistent every time with flavors that are balanced and well rounded. Our group ordered several different dishes from entrees to appetizers to sushi rolls. The atmosphere is just as nice and the prices are reasonable and affordable when comparing to similar places in the area of the same caliber. don’t let the front and location of this place shy you away - it will be well worth it. last we made reservations by calling because this place is not on open table or Google reservations.
This is my wife and my favorite restaurant in the Tri Cities. We have been dining here for over 15 years and it has been consistently excellent for all those years. Owners Linda and Charlie know how to run a restaurant. Everything from the food, service, atmosphere are first rate. My wife and I even had our wedding reception at Cafe 111 and it was excellent too.
Wonderful lunch experience. Our server was very friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. Quiet and relaxing atmosphere, low lighting and bold colors. The soft jazz music is a good choice. It was nice to hold a conversation without the normal yelling over loud music you get in most chain restaurants. We ordered sushi, a tuna tataki salad, and the vegetable stir fry. Everything looked great and tasted fresh and flavorful. You could certainly bring children here, but I find it better suited for couples or small adult groups. They close between 2 and 5 and also do take out service. There is a bar to order from or sit at to enjoy your drink or wait on take out. We will return for lunch service again.
Delicious food! Nice atmosphere. I think this will be another favorite go to on our weekend date!
I went here about 20 minutes before closing and most of the dinner items they were cleaning up. They suggested the special which was a sushi roll and I said okay. It was fantastic. Very very very good sushi. Unfortunately it was at least twice as expensive as it should have been and I probably won't be back for that reason.
Great place! Loved the food, good portions for the price. Boyfriend said their sushi was delicious! I got the sweet and sour chicken. The chicken was still crispy when it got to the table, even with the sauce already on it. We did not get a dessert, but other nearby tables did and they looked amazing. The lighting was quite low where we were seated in the back. I found it romantic, but if you were there with family it would be annoying, ask to be seated in the front. Overall a great experience, and great atmosphere!
