This is a nice RV park. It has full hooks. No frills like a pool that I saw. Nice concrete level pads. Clean grounds. For just a night or two to sleep I think it was a good value. I would stay here anytime. The personnel were very helpful. May of 2023 it was$ 40. You get free cable and WiFi too.
Plenty of parking for your trailer but not so much if you have 2 vehicles. They only give quarters to you if you have cash. The washers and dryers were constantly needing repaired and 90% of the summer they had no ventilation in the two laundry rooms. So it was miserable to do laundry. The doors were left open for the bugs to get in the rooms and the washers/dryers. The rooms were not cleaned regularly. No area to fold your clothes not that you wanted to stay longer than you needed to. The trash bin was always over flowing and stunk! They need two for how many trailers were there. The mowers only came once a week but it needed to be done twice a week. When it rains it does flood under your trailer pretty bad and since it is not on a slab but rock and mostly dirt it’s a muddy mess when you try to get into your trailer. They do offer play ground equipment BUT the people right across from it were horrible people who smoked pot outside and would make false complaints on your kids for playing during the evening before quiet time. We never heard from the office BUT those residents sure will come find you AND verbally attack your children without an adult present. The cops and fire department were constantly out there at the park almost 4 times a week. We were there for only a month till a spot opened up elsewhere. Shopping is limited to a dollar general, family dollar, and a very pleasant wonderful small grocery store but it’s on the other side of town. There is a giant pond for only fishing but it’s just a giant hole for mosquitoes to breed, snapping turtles, and snakes.
This camp ground is very quite and a great place if you are coming to the Baton Rouge area to work. It's only about 15 minutes from ExxonMobil. The camp ground management is very helpful and good people that try to take care of your problems if any arise. I didn't use their shower facilities but their washers and dryers are top notch and only 1.75 to wash and 1.75 to dry. I will be staying again.
We needed a place to stay for 1 night as we were traveling in a pickup hauling a teardrop trailer. The owners answered an after hours call, took our reservation and immediately texted a copy with directions. Then they were available when we arrived. The park is quiet with workers who leave early for work. The campsite was on a concrete pad with full hookup. There were also grassy areas to walk a dog. I did not give it 5* because restrooms are marginal.
I called. They only want brand new rvs and the guy on the phone acted like somone is trash if they don't have a brand new rig.
I love this park! It’s got grass and trees and a pond to make a nice walk around with the dog. Office staff is professional and easy to deal with.
Nice and safe, plenty of room in D section. Most are workers on turn-arounds, so at park to sleep and wash clothes on Sunday. Very convenient to Baton Rouge, as long as you avoid rush hour.
No frills and no problems either. Spaces in the back are paved and really large. I love it here. WiFi could use some improvement.
Nice clean and quiet park! The lots in the back are large pull through concrete spots with plenty of space, no shade but still very nice! Laundry rooms were clean and worked well. We have kids therefore playground could be updated but considering most parks don’t have one this is not a deal breaker. We enjoy it here!
