Conveniently located in the Elk Grove Sports Center next to Strikes Bowling Alley, California Family Fitness Elk Grove is an exciting health club that has everything you're looking for.

We offer many group fitness classes, including exercise bike classes, yoga classes, water classes, zumba classes, boot camp classes, pilates classes, piloga classes, and strength training.

Our beautiful pool area includes a lap pool, beach-entry kids pool, spas and a spray-ground. Our members can also enjoy our other amenities, including a cafe and juice bar, rock climbing wally, full-court basketball court, 3 racquetball courts, and an amazing Kidz Klub.

Our Kidz Klub has a basketball court, a craft area, an infant area, Indoor & Outdoor playgrounds, homework help, fitness classes, and an Xrkade that will entertain your child(ren) while you're enjoying your workout. Our Kidz Klub is open Mon-Fri 8am-9pm and Sat-Sun 8am-7pm.

I've been a member since 2010. I absolutely love and will never leave! They offer more than just exercise equipment. In addition to a great workout, you can spend a spa day in the sauna, get a massage, take a yoga class. It is a great place for a playdate for kids with the daycare, playground and pool. They also have a rock-climbing wall which is fun and safe for all ages. All this and so much more.
I absolutely hate California family fitness, I feel like I have been ripped off, Kate Perry was so quick to get my business, I told her I do not want to be in a contract, and I wanted to try it out for a month first before committing to anything. She said OK and priced me on month to month. I ask her on the same day. When do I have to cancel before getting charged another month, . Kate told me before October 31 and ask me to cancel 4 to 5 days before October 31 to avoid another months charge. We decided we weren’t going to stay in California so I canceled on October 21, which is way more than the time she asked me to give them before canceling September comes, California family fitness, drafted money from my account, so I called and asked Kate what happened, she told me I did absolutely nothing wrong on my end, she said she would talk to a manager on getting the funds credited back into my account, and the manager will call me the next day, three days later, no call, I had to call in again. I spoke to a manager, called chris. Chris told me there was a two month’s charge minimum. I told him Kate never told me that. and he said they would call me back the next day after talking to Kate. But that didn’t happen, I had to call back a couple days later, and spoke to Kate, she told me there was a two month minimum charge before I can cancel. She told me it was in the contract, I told her “you specifically told me to cancel before October 31, and you did not tell me about the two month minimum.” She tried to offer me a month of free work out to make up for her wrong doing, I told her you can offer me 2 to 3 months I would not come back ever again. Bottom line, I would NEVER go back to California family fitness!!!! and definitely will not refer any friends and family to California family fitness!!!! They are so quick to take your money and will promise you anything just to get your business. I had to call multiple times and the problem still isn’t solved. Made me feel like they wanted me to give up pursuing the credit. I care less about the extra month’s charge, it’s about principal. Kate lied!!!!!!
Been a member for 15 years and have seen a decline in cleanliness at the Laguna site. Bathroom aren't kept clean including toilets, floors, water fountain ECT. Upon entry to the front door gum and liter greets you along with the garbage can full from weeks past, never have change when I purchase protein drinks. Pretty disappointed for a business that promotes health and fitness!
My first time visit at this location, the gym is nice but the customer service! If I could give them no stars I would but unfortunately I can’t.. like this guy who was also a customer there working out along with us said this gym runs by some bunch of kids and they have no respect for their customers.. none of them at all! They need to work on their customer service everything else looks fine to me! Am good with any kind of the lack of the gym but a better customer service and RESPECT!
Plenty of weight and cardio machines for all skill-levels. Very clean facilities with friendly, accommodating staff members. The only negative to consider: Because this gym is so much better than the competition, there may be some wait times for certain machines.

Still not the same gym as pre pandemic.... Used to be much cleaner, pool shower doesn't work, equipment not in the best shape...
We’re happy to be part of Cal Family Fitness. Our daughter loves going to the kids Klub Keep it up !
It is clean and it is not as crowded as other health clubs. I wish the shallow pool was indoors so I could use it during the winter.
The gym is charging the same fees as before the pandemic but still has not returned to pre-pandemic hours, even in a highly vaccinated and now BA5 boosted environment. There is no good health or operational reason for these hours of service as society is opening back up and as summer ends. I feel the gym administration is taking advantage of members and using the pandemic as an excuse for unwarranted and reduced service. Reduced hours may have been appropriate early in the pandemic but no longer. SHOULDN'T CAL-FIT RESTORE FRIDAY HOURS TO 9 PM AND SATURDAY-SUNDAY TO 8 PM? This would only add three more hours of operation costs to the gym operators but would be a BIG BENEFIT to members on Fridays and on the weekend to get their workouts in. Please reconsider!
