Callanan Park

Small area, but usually empty and quiet. Stay away from the path on the right, by the bathrooms, that leads downhill. Unless things changed, that's where a lot of druggies go to do their business.

It's a great park. Kids can play and push their parents on a swing.. there is a baseball field and you can have basketball pick up games, picnics and soccer practice..

i had my friends daughters 5th birthday here, we climbed the toys, slid down the slide, climbed the little rock wall, and explored the trees. There was even a baseball game being held, coincidentally by the AA group I attend. It was super fun to watch the game. The park was clean and the bathrooms were too. It was the perfect place to have a birthday party, to see some minor league baseball and enjoy lots and lots of delicious snacks, hot dog and cake. We made a bit of a mess with the confetti poppers. But clean up was painless as the trash cans were not over flowing like many parks. It seems to be well maintained and that is pretty awesome as there are many parks in the area that just seem forgotten by the local parks and rec i will definitly be going back

It's a busy park. I go to shoot hoops and there is only one basketball hoop there so sometimes it's a wait. Usually not to bad though. Always have a baseball game going on there or practice so it's never boring. Great play area for kids and there is a couple little trails in the woods that are fun for a quick explore. I would recommend it to people. Grounds are well kept. I haven't checked out the restrooms but they have them there. Water fountain works. Nice park.

Its a nice place to go ear your lunch - that's what I do. They have a nice little playground for the kids, the bathrooms are cleaned and stocked every day, and there is a covered area for reunions and parties. Its in town, but out of the way so it doesn't seem like its in town. If I'm correct, there is also a baseball field - there used to be anyways.

One of my favorite parks to go to. It's very quiet and relaxing with a decent park, baseball diamond, basketball court and even a small nature walk. The bathrooms are always clean and the red swing can fit 2 small children so there is no arguing over whom gets pushed in it... For now lol. 10/10

Too many occupied cars and know one in park. Playground: Fun for the kids

I love this park and so do my kids it's not ever over packed but sometimes they have functions going on there but it's never been over crowded when I've taken my kids there

Great quiet little neighborhood park! One of Shelton's many hidden gems. A Lush softball field, cool little playground, covered picnic area basketball court. Also, the H.O.P.E. garden project teamed up with the Mason county conservation district and they are making a community food garden there!
