Called because I was locked out of my house, accidently called the wrong Calumet County I’m in WI, the responder was very short, rude and basically yelled at me, told me to call 911 and hung up on me. I know I made an honest mistake, but that is no way to treat someone calling for help, from the Police none the less. Glad I don’t live in this county in Illinois, I wouldn’t feel very safe this this level of respect and lack of empathy.
I’m just praying that missing Charles Thompson 73 is ok.I just tried to contact this location immediately to give information and was hung up on twice. When I saw the missing person article I immediately called to give information. This is the worst dispatch experience. Unbelievable. If the call was dropped there was absolutely no attempt for a call back. Family should have requested to put a better number in to call with information . People are trying to help. But not the calumet city police, sad
Calumet city police department is a Big Joke...so very rude..My car was stolen.i got a phone call stating it was found. Went in to get information on where I came Locate my vehicle. and was treated as if I did the crime.i live in this city..we need better. service..Its ridiculous
Cops are very rude n disrespectful had an car accident earlier today and instead of calmly talking to us they was being very rude n with very bad anger tone. Can’t believe my taxes goes to these cops when they are meant to protect and serve the community but instead are being very rude and disrespectful.
i spend my day yesterday trying to get help from calumet police deparment with assisting me to recover my phone from a pin locating by tracker and the watch commander refuse to allow dispatcher to send over a potral car to location he hung up to the phone on me several time and left me talking every time ... police is here to serve ! and protect witch that watch commander failt to do and allow his officer to help me
I called for a matter July 4th today when someone almost hit someone in my backyard with a firecracker.... no response and I'm on the same block as the police. NO SHOW. Now I see why the crime rate is up And why people do what they want. My dad was Cpd, MY FIANCEE, A FEW FRIENDS, and its terrible. Let me have be confrontational and did the "wrong action" I WOULD BE IN JAIL. But my taxes pay their salary. SMH
The clerks at the station are just rude for no reason whatsoever. If you don't want to deal with the public get a different job. No one wants to spend any time at the police station, especially those of us who are victims. The last thing we need is to be mistreated by those who get paid to help us.
The officers of this department should be ashamed that they are to incompetent to follow simple laws or police procedures... If anyone working here thinks they are doing a good job...you need to take a seat and reevaluate what you consider to be a good job... Shame shame shame shame
Obviously doesn't care........especially if your of african american descent....unprofessional, disrespectful and very childish. But seem to protect drug heads, dealers, alcoholics and sec8 losers who pay for NOTHING and leave their worthless kids unattended ALL THE TIME. ???confused eh???
The police officers there are very Rude! I am calling to discuss an issue and was abruptly placed on hold! There is no reason to treat people this way!
