We want to reach out to the community to help the Camano Library and other reading related programs to all ages. We are excited to make a difference. We welcome your participation and support.

Mission

The Camano Island Library Friends advocate, educate and raise funds for programs, services, materials and equipment for our library in partnership with Sno-Isle Libraries.

Fantastic library. We are fortunate to have this great resource and space on Camano. While a library needs no explanation, the space is well organized and well maintained. The staff is always welcoming and helpful. Personally, I reserve the meeting room space which is free to do fairly often. It is the best option for my needs as I meet with my hobby group once a month. All-in-all, a fantastic library!
Went to pick up a book and use this new SCAMDEMIC service. Got to the library at 1225, called the pick up number and left my number for a call back. After 20 minutes gave up and left to run errands. As of this writing, 1120 pm, no call back. Cancelling my holds and will wait till next year or the year after to use library unless another "crisis" comes up. New info: next day recieved a call from library manager who was very nice and took her time to apologize for problem. Went so far as giving me her cell number to call if I had another problem with pick up. Called from home and spoke to the CAMANO library, the confirmed my holds and asked to call or knock on arrival. Transfer at library fast and friendly. Ignore my earlier writing.
My husband and I attended the early planning meetings for the new building and there was great care taken in its design. Now finished, it has wonderful natural light and a sense of airiness with a modern vibe. I hope that all Cam-Islanders can visit here.
the Darrington branch is an amazing place. My sisters volunteer for free but get gifts almost every time they go. It has activities almost every week, and there for any age. i recommend these library's to anybody that has moderate tolerance for snooty librarians. there are none at the Darrington branch.
We love the kiddo story time! This library is passionate about books & learning & we couldn't appreciate it more. Thank you for all the hard work & sharing your passion with our babes!
Lovely experience. This library is bright and airy, staff is friendly and extremely helpful. Here's to hoping all libraries are open soon!

Awesome little library in a plaza type atmosphere other little shop and amenities good WI FI 2 computers for public use.
Great customer service! Very nice library.
every thing is good but please change from 11:00 to 7:30
