My sister was a patient here. I was highly impressed with how well the staff handled her as an individual. They truly cared about her getting stabilized on her medication. Most places she had been admitted to just wanted to "drug" her so she would sleep all day. She is developmentally delayed with multiple personalities. So she has the mind of a 3-5 year old even though she is 32. The staff was amazing with her. She was discharged and now is in an apartment with 24 hour staffing and no relapses. We need more places like this that can and will help individuals with disabiliites and mental health at the same time.
Half the staff had no compassion in my opinion if you have no compassion you don't belong in any facilities that deal with addicts mentally challenged etc.. One of the doctors was an ass his brother very nice. Scotti my case manager very nice. Therapist Bill, Mike. Shawn, very understanding Bill was awesome. Misty on charge nurse not so compassionate. I'd recommend it to anyone needing help.
Very incompetent staff overall. Two brothers that are doctors own this place and sibling rivalry and one said I can leave, the other said I was going to state hospital. After a long days battle between two brothers, I was released. No caffeine or sugar and very little food. Also fights broke out a woman was injured. Also I became physically ill had to insist on being taken to a hospital then laid sick all night with no medicine when they had it there the whole time. Groups were ineffective and meaningless. Their knowledge of addiction was a joke running 12 step meetings and not one word about the disease and recovery from it. Everyone that want out had to fight tooth and nail to do so. DO NOT GO INTO THIS HOSPITAL! PLEASE SEEK APPROPRIATE AND COMPETENT CARE AT ANOTHER FACILITY!!!
BEWARE!!! I was here for 7 days. They are charging me DOUBLE of the initially stated costs because I WENT THROUGH INSURANCE. Please, if you can help it, do not go here. This is the biggest scam. And if you do, good luck seeing the doctor. He will likely Skype you while eating his dinner and driving his $100,000 car and tell the nurse what to do, without letting you talk. This place deserves to be shut down.
I was here 17 days. Amazing how I feel. I used 36 years. If you want help it is a great place. Carol rn, Danielle rn, T, Ray, Stephen, Teresa, Megan, and so may more tech's. Pam therapist, Scottie therapist, Tiffany case manager, Dr I and Dr A. Amazing how much they care. Thank you for caring!
My name is Katherine allee. I was in Cambridge hospital last year. I was 82 pounds and had been using heroin for two years prior. My organs were all failing and I couldn't eat or walk. After caimbrige some of the staff never left my mind. I am now, 120lbs, healthy and happy. I am going to be attending college this spring. If anyone staff wise reads this review and you remember me I would love to hear back from you.
Place is amazing, have the nicest and most caring staff imaginable they made sure I had everything I needed & that I was very comfortable. This place saved my life! Would recommend to anyone who needs help. Nurses and doctors were the best. Thank God for CBH...
15 days isn't enough time to get off heroin. I was sick 13 of those days. Not am enjoyable 15 days
I went there to get off meth an the hold it had on me in order to get my daughter back they are some of the most caring prople i have ever meet i would like to say it again thanks for all your help an support
Excellent staff.Saved my life.A good stepping stone to help create a path of recovery.
