Boggy Creek 25yrs Joy celebration was awesome! Family visit headed up by the Children's cancer center. Beautiful landscape, old cracker style cabins with modern amenities. Outstanding staff. Kindness, Respect & Love is the theme.
An amazing place! Words can not begin to describe what a wonderful place this is. All of Camp Boggy creek beginning with the doctor/ nurses/ camp counselors / volunteers to the mess hall cooks everyone makes sure your camper and family are taken care of. It’s where your child can be his or herself despite they’re medical diagnosis. We Love Camp Boggy Creek!
This is a very amazing place if you get a chance go and see it it for children with disabilities but it is great what they do for the children
I love this camp it's been a camp I been going to every summer since I was a kid and I would still go there as an adult. It's a great camp for children with chronic medical conditions. They teach the kids how to maintain their health and build their confidence as well. If you haven't heard about this camp then you seriously need to look them up they're awesome.
Great Camp. We love it. This was his 1st time alone ever and he came back telling us about how much fun he had and all the new friends he made.
Camp is a home away from home for both campers and counsellors alike. The atmosphere is great as everyone feels safe, respected and loved.
It's a great weekend for the family's, so much to do and experience. As I sat this morning before camp woke up, it occurred to the planning, hare work and Love that goes into making our stay possible. I had a chance to express our gratitude to some of the staff, but to the ones we did not get to see. You're hard work did not go in noticed. Thank you to everyone who made this trip possible.
Camp Boggy Creek runs camps for children with various medical challenges. The camps are for the child and the entire family. Each family gets one half of a duplex cabin to themselves that accommodates up to 10. There is a bathroom with 3 sinks, 3 toilet stalls and two showers. The camp is extraordinarily well-organized. Every imaginable need we had was provided for while at camp. You bring cloths. They take care of everything else. The experience was amazing. Such detailed planning is done to make the time there just wonderful. I am just now driving home from attending the camp with my wife, kids and mother. We were all in awe of the experience we had. The only tip I can give is this; the camp is a fare way into the country. When we left it took a while to find where we would stop for lunch. We were quite hungry by the time. So, maybe plan you lunch plans for the departure day ahead of time.
We have been to a family weekend, holiday party and my daughter just returned from summer camp. We have all had such an amazing time there. The staff and volunteers made us all feel so special especially my daughter. We are greatful that Camp Boggy Creek exists for kids with life long health conditions. We love CBC.
This is hands down the BEST camp ever! The camp is a non-profit facility that cater to children with specific health and or disabilities. The cabins have beautiful architecture! There are so many fun activities for the kids ranging from horseback riding, archery, woodshop ans so much more! The nurses and all camp coordinators and counselors are so well trained and knowledgeable. This is not your everyday camp. Thanks so much to this camp and all that is offered!
