BookPeople's most popular Literary Camp program since 2006, Camp Half-Blood, Austin branch, is a way of immersing your demigod child in the world of their favorite book series. We do this with actors, costumers, set-designers, special effect artists, prop-makers and wonderful storytelling. We do this for one reason: we'll do anything to keep kids interested in reading.
At CH-B, Austin you can expect to climb the lava wall, race chariots, learn battle tactics, phalanx training, sword form, spear form, capture-the-flag, daily quests, learn ancient Greek, dabble in pottery and ancient music, fend off monsters and villains, and maybe even get in a game of Mythomagic between battles. It's never dull and you may even return home with all your limbs! We hope you'll become a part of our fast growing literary camp family.
