This is an amazing camp. Absolutely beautiful. I am very blessed to have the opportunity to come to the Salvation Army's Women's Retreat May 2023. There were so many activities we enjoyed and the people were wonderful, staff and fellow women enjoying the retreat. There was not enough time to enjoy everything they had to offer but I cannot wait until the next retreat. I will be there God willing. The dorms are great. The beds were very comfortable. The camp does need to work on having wheelchair accessibility throughout the whole campespecially in restrooms and showers, and braille labeling. I saw and heard the struggles from some of the ladies. But other than that it would be perfect.
Beautiful camp with lots of options for accommodations for your group. The service was excellent as was the food. Our group felt very well taken care of for the duration of our stay.
My grandson went to camp for the first time at 13 years old and LOVES IT! The camp was awesome and so is the staff. He told me he felt like he made a real connection!
Took some kids there from De Leon Texas for a Summer Camp Activity. I drive for a Limo Company called Godfather Transport Inc. Had a Smooth ride with kids and Staff. They prayed before departure, it was a Bleelssed run. To bad tomorrow I won't be available to return them back to De Leon TX.
Great summer camp, been around for a long time but is beautifully updated and landscaped and still growing. This is the Salvation Army’s Texas camp.
Great facilities and friendly staff. Took care to make sure everyone was safe and stayed hydrated.
Amazing staff, huge hearts, beautiful scenery, updated and well maintained property, and working to stay in modernized in technology infrastructure and security to make sure it's the best possible experience.
