Adventures in Communication
The Adventures in Communication program (Formerly the Speech-Language and Hearing Camp) is a unique recreational summer camp experience mixed with an intensive schedule of individualized speech-language therapy. Campers will make new friends, enhance independent thinking skills, enjoy a variety of camp activities, and work one-on-one with aspiring Speech-Language Pathologists (Supervised by experienced and certified clinicians). This plentiful camp schedule enables campers to achieve specific speech and social thinking goals in a fun and unique way.
Dates:
* Session I: July 6th – 13th; (Day Camp July 9th – 12th)
* Session II: July 21st – 28th; (Day Camp July 23rd – 26th)

Camp Tomodachi: A Social Thinking program
Tomodachi is the Japanese word for friendship which serves as the ultimate goal of the program – to build friendships and relationships while having a great time. Camp Tomodachi is a co-ed overnight camp for children and teens with high-functioning Autism Spectrum Disorder, Asperger’s Syndrome, ADD, ADHD, etc. Children that attend Camp Tomodachi participate in a traditional summer camp experience surrounded by the supports necessary to encourage friendship and take the ultimate experience away from summer camp.
