We were looking for somewhere to have our first ever girl scout overnight. What an amazing experience! The cabin was extremely spacious with three bedrooms and three full bathrooms. We opted to have them provide us meals for a nominal fee. Excellent idea! The food was amazing and plentiful. Tom and Brandon were so helpful for everything we needed. The hands down favorite was the swings behind the dining hall, but the campfire with s'mores was a close second. Our girls are already asking to come back!
Kirkwood House was exactly what we were looking for to enhance our wedding weekend with a Friday night meet and greet, a nighttime gathering after the wedding, and Sunday brunch - all catered by Olmsted staff! They went above and beyond our expectations to help us have a fabulous weekend!
Thank you Charlie, and the whole crew in the kitchen who prepared and served food for our retreat this weekend with such love and care. Really appreciate you guys! The grounds are also a peaceful place to remember to breathe, slow down, and just be present. Sending much gratitude!
Carla was very helpful from booking, throughout our stay and even afterwards when she returned a phone charger we left behind. The food was great and prepared with care. It's a great location - Storm King is beautiful. We'll be back!
