Description

Camp Sabroske is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing a place filled with nature for people of all faiths and ages to come experience nature as God intended. We have RV and tent camping available, as well as a dorm that can sleep up to 50 people (great for youth groups and retreats!), a lodge that has a full kitchen, a meeting hall, and two full bathrooms with showers, and a shelter house, which is a screened in meeting room. Each building has water and electricity, and are available for rent together or separately. We have a beautiful stocked pond as well as a swimming pool that is available to all guests as well as members. There are two outdoor worship areas that can be used for worship services or just for a nice place to sit and observe the beauty of nature.

I like this camp, and the maintenance and office people are very nice. It seems like a older place. Bathroom shower area was clean. I enjoyed the wooded areas and paths. It's not a fancy place, it's a nice nature camp. There is a pool did not look at it, playground ground, and pond
Some of these other reviews information is correct they have done some improvement the bunk bed area is a disaster and needs a major upgrade it smelt like you're in it was mildewy but we made it do what we do and we just enjoyed our time the Landscaping is beautiful but you need to do better for sleeping Arrangements a bunk bed area needs an overhaul
We loved our weekend at Camp Sabroske. The people are friendly, the campsite is nice and being updated and upkeep. The bathhouse was clean and had hot hot water. We are already booking many more weekends for this year and considering a seasonal space.
Went camping there as a kid and not to long ago. The owner has made lots of improvements on the campsite; new playground equipment, updated shower houses, added cabins on the site, and etc... Also the owner is very friendly and well mannered. Campsite is very family friendly.
The owners made our expectations clear. It is value for money for sure. But the value and money both are on the lower side if you choose to stay at the dorm. So if you are looking for a "nice place" to camp this place is definitely worth your money but don't go for the dorm if you have other options in your hand. Very near to magee marsh20 mins on car. So that's a plus for bird enthusiasts.
We camped here over 20 years ago . Seems like they where just getting started but we Loved it , and the owners are very nice people . Make you feel right at home , we plan on camping there soon , can’t wait to see the changes , !
The family who owes and operates the grounds are extremely nice. They are very laid back and put stay was nothing but relaxing and fun. They have horse back riding which was fun and relaxing. Awesome place!
We have been camping here every may since 2006. They are one of the friendliest campgrounds our family has ever been to. I highly recommend everyone that is looking for a Campground in the area to stay here.
Bunks were extremely dirty, the toilets were full of waste and did not flush. We were told there would be a pool and AC but the AC consisted of a box fan hung from the ceiling by a string. The cabin door did not shut all the way so there were hundreds of bugs and spiders. We were supposed to stay for a whole week but none of our girls w ages to stay longer than one night so we ended up driving all the way back home and canceling our vacation. We also rented stuff for paintball but the field was flooded so we did not get to play.
Camp Sambroske and the family that runs the camp is the most amazing family I have met in my 40 years of life. My son whom has been diagnosed with Autism asd loves being at Camp Sambroske. He rides their pony, plays with the dogs, the toys and the children in the family, which is unusual for a child diagnosed with Autism. My son has loved the experience at Camp Sambroske and so will yours. Please support them and all they do to support horses, dogs, pigs chickens, other animals they rescue, as well as their efforts to support the camping, horseback riding and equine therapy for special needs children. It is an amazing family with an amazing attitude with all they do. I would recommend them to every family or individual whom wants a great outdoors experience. they are wonderful
