We pass the sign for this all the time and have wanted to visit for a while. They are only open in the summer and are staffed by volunteers. The museum is inside a Quonset hut set up as it would have been used in the 40s. There are collections of pieces from the time it was neat to see the various maps from an era when the area looked very different. The volunteers were helpful and well informed and answered all of our questions. If you have an interest in WWII history or the history of Rockland check it out.
Small but rich museum with knowledgeable facilitators and a nice slice of our history.
