It was a beautiful place and we love our family time and the people made it that much better!!Rooms: 5/5
Very friendly campground the staff and seasonal campers makes you feel at home. Well kept, clean with lots to do! Kids loved it and us as well. Highly recommend! The pool and slide were perfect on those really hot days! The canteen was delicious their poutine is a must! Whether your alone , with friends or family this is the place to be!
Very beautiful place to camp, lots of fun things for the kids to do, just had a bit of a struggle with making renovations online. The campground is clean, and tidy. Wish there we're more sites available for tents as I really like the feel if actual camping. Loving the new additions to the campground. This is overall a campground that I've been going to most of my childhood.
Busy place, lots of seasonal sites. Incredible amount of mosquitoes. Most I’ve ever seen. My guess it’s the marsh behind campground. Had a rain storm, ground didn’t soak up the water? Is camp marsh too? Lastly they probably having trouble with staffing. Girl at front desk gave us wrong directions on the map to our sites. Pull thru, pull out, back up and pull thru in other direction .
Really nice campground. Clean. They asked if we had kids at checkin and then put us in a adult section that was perfect so it was quiet in the evening.
Nice campsite. Everyone was friendly and with our four dogs we found it very relaxing. The slide should be free for paying campers like the pool is though, it's advertised as such but its not, its $10 per day per person...only one of us got to experience the slide because of this and he said it was okay.
Great place for kids. If you rent a cabin, there is no toilet or running water or fridge in the cabin and the matresses are thin and uncomfortable. If you are camping here bring alot of cash because the only free thing for campers is the pool...you have to pay every time you wanna play miniput or use the slide etc. Very beautiful place. Staff are nice.
Really great, I have never gone camping there because we live in the area, but we go to the water park all of the time. The slide is awesome, as is the heated pool that is included in the ten dollar fee that you pay for two hours, the fee lets you have access to the pool, water park and water slide which is very big. The food is pretty great too! The lifeguard however was the only bad thing. She was some snippy eighteen year old who was more concerned about playing on her phone then looking at the kids in the water. only when the manager who was walking by stopped to look, then oh boy did she tell you not to do this or that, while a little kid was having a little trouble swimming, she was criticizing me and my friends for going down the slide on our stomachs, or how my friend was swimming, yes she really did that.... I wish I had got her name because she should be fired.... Otherwise great place and would highly recommend!!!!!
Very nice place...lots of entertainment for everyone....nice staff. Very beautiful .My thing is that we have a tent and wanted electricity and our extension would not plug into the outlet.....went to the office and had to talk a little louder than I would usually do...finally someone came and fixed it all. Thank you. Our sight was next to the playground and we did not get to sleep until around eleven because kids were playing....yelling and crying in the playground...…….
Not a place for a tent here, only 3 spots with mosquitoes and wasps, Toilets/showers are old and dirty, no hot water even it’s 1$ for 2 min, some are even not working at all, Would not recommend after 2 weeks of camping around Gapesie
