Sports fans, take advantage of a unique opportunity recently launched to the public. Sign up for an hour-long tour of the one and only Candlestick Park Stadium, home of the five-time world champion San Francisco 49ers and former home to the San Francisco Giants. Get a behind-the-scenes look at the team locker rooms, take in the view from the luxury suites, and run on the field and you might even be able to reenact "The Catch," the famous Joe Montana-to-Dwight Clark play that launched the 49ers into their first Super Bowl.
Tours are available Monday through Friday, at 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., and on Saturdays at 11 a.m. Times and dates are subject to change due to field preparations during the football season. (Tours will not be offered five days prior to each home game.)
Prices: $18 for adults; $15 for students, seniors (62+) and military/veterans with valid ID; and $12 for children ages 4-17. Children under 3 are free.
