"I like to have studies that have well balanced colors within the piece. The effect of wind on water and trees, the cool sunshine on a building, the bright shadows and getting many colors to work side by side. These are some of the challenges I present myself when I chose the locations to paint or draw. My pursuit is the same; I put down what I see, in best colors that work together."
