Canyon Alpine Motel, Boston Bar, BC

We arrived to help with the fires and were told she was fully booked, no rooms available… 5 minutes later we were handed keys to 2 rooms. First night, pulled back the covers to be greeted by bloodstained sheets, in both beds. Called to ask if other rooms were available to which I was told no, and yet, there were several rooms that were not being occupied in my time there. I actually considered setting up my tent in the room because who knows what else was in the bed I couldn’t see. The TV would intermittently work. The fridge froze all my food even at the lowest setting. The microwave barely worked. Takes about 10 minutes before getting hot water in the “Renovated” bathrooms, which include chipped paint from lack of prep, the original old shower head, and surprise, blood stained towels. Judging by the replies from the owner to other reviews, I will probably get a snarky response. Regardless, that doesn’t change the fact of this motel being a last resort.

I just stopped to use the bathroom had to buy a coffee in order to do so the lady was very friendly and helpful! Cute place, wilderness all around here. I didn't stay in a room so I can't say much about it.Service: 5/5

Great place to stay! Clean room, comfortable beds, friendly staff. We enjoyed many dog walks in the nicely maintained courtyard and neighbouring RV park. We would absolutely stay here again.Rooms: 5/5

Rooms are okay. Had 2 small fridges. Bed okay, not the best room, not the worst. Just a place to lay our heads for a night. There was a smell in the room. But once we aired it out and turned on a bit of heat it was gone. T.v picture was average not very hi def. Service was nice she was prompt to answere bell. Pet friendly was a plus. Gave us a room near the grass for our dog. Good area..

Comfortable quiet room. Excellent service. Thank you so much Gurvinder for giving my elder mother some oatmeal and beautiful blueberries to have for breakfast because she couldn't eat eggs at the Alpine Motel restaurant. Very sweet & caring. I would highly recommend this motel. The owner and staff are honourable, conscientious and efficient. It is 40 years old, but everything works and is updated as needed. That is coming from someone who has been living here for 5 months! Great experience!Rooms: 5/5

Gurwinder has been amazing to our staff. Very accommodating. She works to much at times. She will even do the laundry at times. One of the most kind people I've met in a very long time. Happy to stay here any time and highly recommend her motel.Rooms: 5/5

Overall a very nice place to stay. Clean and comfortable. Nice hot shower. Room was quiet and it seems well insulated from any highway or train noise. Obviously not luxury but great for the area. One of the better industry highway motels I've stayed in.

So we did not get a chance to stay here. My wife and I were driving through tonight and we were told that they do not allow service dogs and that they are not dog friendly. The lady was not very nice and never in our life have we’ve been told we can’t have our service dog in a hotel or motel. So we would not recommend a place like this that does not allow people to have there service animal with them. Plenty of other motels on this hwy to stay at that will Welcome your business

It was nice and clean and the owners were nice enough to let us in at about 3:00 a.m.. it was the only place within 30 miles that we found that they would still let us in that hour and they were quite polite about it and as I said the rooms were nice and clean and we had no problems at all.Rooms: 5/5
