The best dentist ever!!! The best staff ever!! He's not rude he's very informative and listens and is trying to give you the best options for your teeth! This is now my new dentist and no one has touched my teeth in 15years until Dr Y! Great place!!! Go see him!!!
Dr yohannes was extremely rude when I explained i needed an extraction on a tooth that was giving me problems over the years. He tried selling me on a root canal that I didn't want or need. After spending nearly 7k on dental work there you'd think the staff would be more professional and willing to help me.I explained to him how much pain I was in and he didn't even try to fit me in his schedule. Overall I waited 2 weeks in pain because he stated he'd fit me in. Finally I went to a different dentist and he was able to help me. Seriously folks dr yohannes will try to squeeze every penny out of you he can so Beware....On top of that ive seen them use dirty instruments from one patient straight to another... Gross!!!! This guy needs to be shut down.
This is the best Dentist in Phoenix. I live in Gilbert and drive 40 minutes for my and my daughter's visits. My daughter is 8 years old and he puts her at ease by explaining what he is going to be doing step by step, encouraging her by letting her know she is doing a great job and that she is amazing. He also helps looks for the best most economical plan to fix the dental problem, unlike other dentists I have visited. Dr. Yohannes is truly one of a kind.
Wow, what a great doctor. Furthermore, he actually cares about his patients. I went to his office for a toothache and he and his staff were so kind. He didn't even charge me for the appointment and administered novacaine to ease the pain. I returned to his office a week later to get the problem tooth extracted. He was gentle and took his time and I was literally pain free the next day. If you're looking for a great dentist who will work with you and treat you like a person, not just a patient, this is your guy. I drive a good distance to see him, but it's well worth it.
Dr. Daniel is one of the best dentist in the state. He is very gentle and cautious with every procedure he does. His staff are also very polite and professional. He is very easy to work with and tries his best to help out in anyway he can. I would recommend anyone that is looking for a dentist in the Phoenix area to give Dr. Daniel a call. You won't regret it!
He is the absolute best!! When I first went to his office some years ago, it was to get a 2nd opinion regarding gum surgery. I could not even get through a cleaning without great pain. He was very patient with me. I followed his instructions faithfully. The need for surgery was eliminated and now I don't even need topical for cleanings. He and his staff are awesome!!!
At first Canyon Hills Family Dentistry was excellent from their staff to their services. Dr.Yohannes was incredible with doing my root canal and I felt very little pain. I went to them because they had done a great job with another family member of mine. What was even better is the did payment plans which made their services way more affordable. I really like them but recently a couple changes in how they operate things has waved my opinion on Canyon Hills Family Dentistry as a whole. First off they did away with payment plans in 2016. So if you do not have the money to pay up front for all the procedures you need for a tooth, then they only do one to two procedure at a time that you still have to pay in full. Example in the past I had a root canal done on my tooth, plush build up and a temporary crown all done in one appointment. Now if I want to go back to Canyon Hills Family Dentistry I have to either pay for in full for the root canal, build up and temporary crown in one appointment, or I do three separate appointment for each procedure still have to pay in full each time. Not everyone can afford doing it this way including me. Secondly, I recently called to schedule an appointment for another root canal but their new receptionist was rude. I scheduled an appointment with them and receptionist said that she would talk to Dr.Yohannes about working out a possible payment plan and they would get back to me about the situation but I did not hear anything back. They called me a couple of days later to verify my appointment. I tell the receptionist that I never heard anything back about working out a payment plan she said she would put me on hold to speak with Dr. Yohannes then she just hung up on me. I found later it was because is new.
Dr. Daniel is the absolute best dentist ever! And a very good man. He is honest, Takes pretty much any insurance, and takes care of his patients. It’s apparent he is doing what he loves. My whole family goes to him.
Dr Yohannes is very professional and caring. I appreciate his approach to making the patient feel relax and confortable. Not once has Dr Yohannes made me feel embarrassed or ashamed; I probably have the worse dental problem he has worked on; yet, he make me feel comfortable and normal. He is a man of integrity. I had a credit with his office and did not realized it; however, he being a man of honesty and informed me of the credit. Dr Yohannes was willing to accept payments on my dental bill at one time. He always asked about my son, and granddaughters and he exhibits the care of a father and human being. The staff he employs is great! There may be one or two staff members which might come across the wrong way; yet if made aware Dr Yohannes will address the issue. I appreciate being accepted as a patient and the approach of Canyon Hills Family Dentistry. Thank you for being our family dentist. Initially, I was very pleased with the woman who made my appointment over the phone. I didn't catch her name but she mentioned she was a temp only working there for a couple weeks. She was very kind and more than helpful. I called back a few days later because my dental situation worsened and I wasn't sure if I could wait until my appointment to be helped. I spoke to a different woman Adrianna? on the phone who couldn't/wouldn't answer any of my questions, had a tone, and put me on hold for so long I ended up hanging up. To my surprise, she actually called back. Continued pushing me to come in for my scheduled exam but offering no information at all. Finally after being fed up with her condescending me, I cancelled my appointment. This is a shame considering they are one of the only offices in the area that have Saturdays available. I truly hope this was a one-off and isn't how the office personnel usually is because I'm sure she's lost them more patients than just me.
