Make reservations it's a must. All the employees are super nice. We sat outside they have nice music and they had a live person singing. They have endless mimosas on the weekends. I had an amazing brunch burger with skinny fries. My husband liked the chilaquiles.Food: 5/5
I think the musician was too loud. He was good but maybe the speakers would be better turned down so we could hear ourselves better.Food: 5/5
Beautiful golf course view. Great staff. Very good food. Not fancy. Have been there several times. The last time I had the fish and chips. The batter was light and crispy, fish cooked perfect. Ask for an appetizer of the house chips. Light, crunchy, and salted perfectly. Inside or outside seating. You do not have to be a golfer to enjoy this restaurant.
Beautiful views when sitting outdoors! Enjoyed live music all the food was flavorful and filling stopped in on a Wednesday for date night between 6pm - 8pm : great service!! Go check it out!Food: 5/5
Made reservations to celebrate a birthday at what I thought would be an elegant restaurant with a beautiful view I had been there for a wedding the prior year. Wow what disappointing ambiance! Bare hard floors, ugly banquet tables with beige cloths, no flowers no plants, no artwork. It felt like we were walking into a school cafeteria. I literally thought we were in the wrong place. We settled in though, waited TOO long for the server to ask us and then bring us mimosas...looked at the menu and, wow, ...it had the imagination of a Dennys menu... Short stack, waffles, Denver Omelette... yawn.. I ordered the only thing that was interesting which was the Chilaquilas. The food we all received, did in fact, taste good, but the plating was sad. No garnishing whatsoever. Then there was a guy playing live music which was nice, but they also had the stupid regular music turned on. I had to ask someone to turn off the other music so we could hear the performer. It would be SO easy to fix these issues. It's such a beautiful golf club. Get it together Crossings!
Food and the view from The Canyons is always good. In this case, our sever pretty much lied to us the entire time about his promptness in serving us. While he claimed to be "slammed" we noticed he was hanging out with the other service workers at a table about 30ft away from ours. We have eaten at the Canyons on several occasions and, for the most part had good service. Let's hope this time was an exception.
The quality of ingredients and balance of flavors leaves nothing to be desired in my opinion. The salmon dish with the vibrant and powerful kimchi rice blended perfectly with the fatty fish. The She Devilved Eggs are a wonderful single bite as long as you have the mouth to do so. Matched with the view of a portion of the golf course make it a spot to be envied.
Usually, I am not one to speak on hash browns. I appreciate them, but I didn't imagine a world where it was the star of a plate. Especially a plate like this. Yet, I momentarily forgot the steak was even there. When I took my first bite of hash brown, I was met with a perfect crunchy crust paired with a perfectly tender center. What I experienced I didn't even know was possible. It taste like it was deep fried in grass fed butter yet it still happened to remain light with the perfect balance of salt. These hash browns opened my world to what a hash brown could be, what they should be. Steak was good.
Ambiance for a romantic evening? Totally. Really flavorful food? For sure. However, I’m left to wonder…did I accidentally order off of the kid’s menu? Portion control people…as in up size me! The only question now is…where do we go for dinner after this? And that’s…Henry’s Take. @henrystake
The boys wanted pancake, we asked the hostess if there's pancake in the brunch menu, she confirmed that there was. So we waited 30 minutes to do the brunch because it looked like a great spread. When we got in, we found out there was only French toast and waffles. Which on a normal basis would've been fine if we hadn't waited for 30 minutes to get pancake! Our waiter advised the manager and they made an exception and brought the boys the pancake so everyone was happy in the end. Thank you the serving team for taking care of our boys
