Garcia's Mexican Restaurant

Well, I asked turkey quesadilla but the turkey meat was all dark. I don't like the dark part of the turkey. And regard the bean and chicken, I tried them also and they're average. Nothing special . Also I was suspicious if the guacamole avocado was fresh. So I would rate this place a OK place. An average food! And by the way, my sister did make a small modification in the way her meal would be served and the waitress said would charge $2.50 more for that however in the end, unbenoknownst to us, they charged extra $4.50 instead for the specific changes.

This my first time here and service is excellent but the food was horrible. We order chicken fajitas with carne sada , had no flavor chicken dry, the steak was dry as well the adova taco was not great who puts cheese on a street taco brah.. Don't order the chicken flautas were not great chicken has no flavor. The chimas was the only thing that was excellent .

My wife & I went to the Carlsbad Street Fair & decided to try Garcia’s for Lunch. The wait was reasonable despite the huge crowd. Our server, Jose, was excellent. We asked him for recommendations based on a few choices we were contemplating & he not only gave us answers but reasons why he made those recommendations. The food was served promptly & was quite good. My wife had the carnitas taco which she enjoyed & was plenty of food for her. I had a shredded beef wet burrito that was very flavorful. They had an expansive menu & full bar. Prices were reasonable. We will be back again.

Favorite place to eat when in Carlsbad! Love their tacos, big size! Salsa at the table is very tasty! They also cater and their food is spectacular! I've ordered their service for a special occasion. Highly recommend!

Garcia’s is simply excellent. The salsa may be some of the best I’ve ever had. Fresh, flavorful, perfect heat. God damn. Excellente!

Garcia’s is a wonderful restaurant in Carlsbad Village. The drinks were great, the tortillas were made fresh, the salsa had decent spice, and the meals were delicious. Also noteworthy was the service. The staff were so kind and accommodating. I genuinely enjoyed coming here. Come give this small restaurant a try.

Love this spot! The outdoor seating is really nice, cool spot to people watch. Their service is amazing, everyone is so friendly. The food was delicious, I haven't been that stuffed in a long time. Had the Chicken Tamale, Rice and beans. Also the house Marg was tasty and refreshing!

Nice little Mexican place. We sat outside and enjoyed people watching. The service was great. The food was good the only thing I didn't like was the rice.
