Lady who answered the phone for new patients was RUDE. Just because you don’t accept Medicaid insurance does not mean you need to be rude. Don’t answer phones if you are going to be rude to people who call for help.
Wow. First of all I am beyond impressed. Every staff member here is super friendly and kind. Dr Kate, Kayla, Maryann and the rest of the team went above and beyond to make my daughters first dentist experience a positive happy one. She usually cries at any other doctor appointments but she was all smiles today. She even said “cool dentist” lol. She is two. The waiting area has a game activity section which my daughter loved and it was super clean too. Thank you ! If only I had you as a pediatric dentist growing up! Lol keep up the great work, it doesn’t go unnoticed.
They were incredible with my three year old who had a bad experience at different dentist earlier this year. They instantly made him feel comfortable by putting on a show that he liked and introducing him to all the dental tools that they gave kid friendly names!. The staff was very kind and took the time to relate to my son and answer my questions. After the appointment, my son told me he had so much fun and can’t wait to go back in 6 months. I highly recommended Where Smiles Grow!
We switched our daughter from a family practice to Where Smiles Grow due to wanting a second opinion and more child-friendly environment from a family practice. Dr. Mehveen is an absolute gem and is gentle in practice and demeanor. She and all other staff have put my anxious daughter at ease when getting fillings. Additionally, equipment is all child-sized and staff are always willing to answer questions from parents and children alike. Transparent billing and ease finding appointments to fit our schedule are a plus. I have no hesitation recommending the practice! We’ve now been several times since our daughters first appointment.
The staff front desk, hygienists etc are all incredibly nice and helpful. They really put my 3 year old at ease which makes a mother happy! The dentist we saw, Dr. Jen, was so kind and knowledgeable. My son loved her. We drive 30 minutes to get to the Latham location and it is 100% worth it. I would highly recommend this practice!
Great place to take your kids. I wish the dentist was like this when I was a child. They were ready on time and made my child's first time to the dentist a wonderful one. Be true to your teeth or they will be false to you.
Dr M and her assistant, Lisa, are both ‘Class Acts’ in how they handle patients and their knowledge in pediatric dentistry. They truly care about the total dentistry experience not only for the apprehensive child but the concerned parent, too. I was totally impressed with today’s visit. Based on my experience, I highly recommend this office over other pediatric dental offices in Upstate NY.
FIVE STARS!!! My son had a bad experience with another pediatric dentist two years ago. After going to Where Smiles Go once, he gets excited about going to the dentist now. The staff is warm and kind and Dr. Kate has an amazing way with kids and is very thorough and knowledgeable.
My children love the staff and are very comfortable going there. However, their billing practices are predatory. They suggest many different services and don't take into account what your insurance will allow and reject, or if it exceeds the limit allowed by your provider. Be cognizant of what your insurance allows and what limitations you have for certain services. After more than a year, I received a substantial invoice stating that I had a balance of 90+ days. I requested the initial statement, but was told that they "did not have access to it" and were only able to provide me with a history bill, which was impossible to follow and understand.
We love Dr. Jason! Thank you for being so kind and patient during our son’s frenectomy! We felt supported and informed throughout the process. Our toddler also loved coming to your office, the bright colors and warm demeanor of everyone there put us all at ease. Thank you so much!
