Capital Region Home Health is a Medicare Certified home health agency committed to providing high quality, multidisciplinary home health services delivered by an experienced team of healthcare professionals. Our goal is to develop an individualized plan of care, under the direct supervision of a physician, to return our patients to a life of medical independence as quickly as possible.
Capital Regional Medical Center developed the first hospital-based Home Health Agency in Central Missouri in 1984. In 1997 Capital Region formed an affiliation with the University of Missouri of Missouri Health system. The affiliation combines the strengths of an academic medical center with the strengths of a community-based hospital.

Capital Region Home Health is a Medicare Certified Home Health Agency. We accept Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance and private pay. There is no deductible and no co-payment for the Medicare beneficiary.

Home Health Care Services
Skilled Nurses – Teaching and training for new medication, disease specific training, observation and assessment after a change in medical condition, wound care and assist with pain management.
Physical Therapist – Work on improving walking, exercising, weakness and assist with learning new devices such as a walker or cane
Occupational Therapist – Encourages strength and independence in self-care activities, such as bathing and grooming
Speech Therapist – Assists with speech, swallowing and eating difficulties
Medical Social Worker – Offers additional community resources to aid recovery
Home Health Aide – Provides assistance with bathing and personal care
Pediatric Nursing and Therapy Services – Skilled care for infants, children and expecting moms in the safety and comfort of their own home
Well at Home – Home monitoring medical system that is offered to our patients while on service at no additional costs. Well at Home will check all of your vitals and the results will be sent to our office daily where a nurse will review and contact you and your physician if something does not look right.
