My kids love this park! We walk the trail, they play in the gated playground for hours, look for duckies, and its location is perfect. The ONLY reasons I'm not giving it 5 stars is because there is no changing table in the restroom, the dock is covered in duck poop, and there's an fire ant issue. They're all avoidable, but have proved unexpected challenges.
Nice circular park centered around a large lake used by a few folks for fishing. It has a playground for children and basic amenities.
This park is situated in a beautiful, quiet little corner of Tamarac. It's well maintained. The kids park has a soft, bouncy ground. The dock and the pond is lovely. There's picnic tables and clean bathrooms. We love coming here- it's one of our favorite parks.
Stumbled upon this park. Beautiful park with a lovely playground area. They have a lending library box which is cool. Its currently decorated for the holidays with a Big Beautiful Tree and Chanukah Menorah and Kwanzaa Kinara, inclusive which is nice. There are ducks and other birds that beg for good so be careful if you bring food. I would have given this park 5 stars but the ladies bathroom was foul and one of the toilets was plugged up and wouldnt flush.
Very peaceful and quiet. Beautiful scenery not the best to play pokemon. Good for walking
Small park with children's playground, clean toilet block and picnic tables with BBQ grills - perfect spot on a warm evening to enjoy the lake, wildlife and walk or jig around the lake 0.5 mile. Enjoyed our afternoon there.
Do not bring food to this park. The ducks will harass you, trying to get your food. Also, there's a sign at this park that said "no dogs allowed", but I seen multiple dogs there. Other than that, the park was lovely.
Once again..nice park. Limited parking ...planning on enhancing and developing this year ...into a nice water park.. great future for that community..local next to a lower income area and a nice bigger adult living community../ I feel it's diffinayely a good upgrade for this area..
I take my daughter here from time to time. I love the path along the lake, and the covered playground is great. I just went a few days ago and cover was taken down. I'm assuming for hurricane prep. But I'd love to see it put back up. The cover makes a huge difference on a sunny day.
Well manicured place to visit, with a park, some benches, a small lake and, a couple of ficus trees to climb. The kids enjoyed a safe playground, with super soft floor, I felt comfortable letting them run around in the gated area.
