Brent Holman grew up in Halstead, Kansas.....the son of a dentist. He completed his pre-dental training at the University of Kansas and received his DDS degree from the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry. After a year of general dentistry practice, he attended Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas where he received his 2-year specialty training as a pediatric dentist. Dr. Holman earned his Board-certification from the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry in 1987.
Dr. Holman was a founding Board member of the Red River Valley Dental Access Project (www.rrdentalaccess.com) that was initiated in 1998 and is currently a board member. Dr. Holman received the American Dental Association Access Recognition Award and the Bud Tarrson Access to Care Award from the American Dental Association Foundation in 2004. He was the first State Coordinator for the Donated Dental Services Program and is currently State Coordinator for the Head Start Dental Home Initiative. Dr. Holman is a Fellow of the American College of Dentists and the International College of Dentists, and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He was President of the North Dakota Dental Association in 2003-2004 and served on it's Board of Trustees for 6 years.
