Holland is amazing!! She has been doing my hair for 8 years now and I am not a low maintenance client. LOL I love "fashion colors" and Holland has seen my hair through dozens of color changes and lengths from my butt to my jawline. My hair always looks fantastic!! People stop me everywhere to ask who does it. Without her care I would not have spent the last decade wearing a rainbow of hair colors. My hair can be rather complicated at times but she always takes it in stride and makes things turn out right. She listens well and works hard to give me what I want, but she will also tell me if something won't work or look good and I really value that! It's nice that she's at Carmen! Carmen! where more people can benefit from her awesome hair skills. The salon is lovely! But really, I would follow her anywhere... Today she made my hair a bright raspberry, I can't wait to travel with it!Services: Shampoo & conditioning

I called requesting an appointment for a blowout and flat iron. I explained that I was natural and asked several times if they did African American hair, they said yes. My hair felt awful when I left and was coarse at the root which is very important to straighten. I feel like I wasted $60. Although the customer service was great I really wish people wouldn’t say they can do black hair if it’s not their expertise. I don’t pay to sorta have my hair done well. What make matter worse was I had a birthday dinner planned later that evening and I felt terrible when I left. Just be honest with customers. I do not plan to return here.

I got my haircut today after not getting it professionally cut in a while. Actually, I was going through some stuff and did the “I’m going to cut my own hair based off of a TikTok I saw” situation and Miss Donna was so polite and kind. She did an amazing job and I left feeling great! She even said I did a pretty okay job at cutting my own hair! 11/10 would recommend Miss Donna or the rest of the staff here!Services: Shampoo & conditioning

We used Carmen! Carmen! Services for styled hair cut for my daughter's 12 th birthday. The prices are relatively less and quality of service is paramount. The stylist took his time to style her hair patiently and we couldn't be more happier with the final output. I highly recommend this service if you are in the area and have time. We were even suggested few products to continue maintaining healthy hair.

I have been getting my hair done here for 9 years!!! I have seen quite the host of stylists but absolutely love Jennifer Cheek and Lori Hobbs. They both do such a great job and listen to what I want while also being practical as to what my hair is going to look like and explain things thoroughly. Keri, the regional manager is awesome as well! She is also super nice to every guest that walks into the salon. You can tell she takes pride in her salon and her team. Awesome salon, I recommend them to everyone!!!

I got a cut today with Shanelle and she was awesome! This was my first time with her and she cut my hair exactly as I described, and was very focused on making sure I was happy with my hair. The appointment flew by, she was so sweet with such a great personality! I would absolutely recommend her to anyone, I will definitely be returning.

If someone books an appointment and requests a coloring service with a specific stylist and you know they aren't good with color, let the customer know. Went to get highlights or other color service to blend my gray hairs and the stylist seemed unsure what to do. Ended up having her slap some dark color to cover up the gray, but have sections where it was totally missed, so I still have strands of gray in the front. Should have gone with my gut and not gone here. But I was impatient and this was all that was available, now I know why. You can tell a lot by how the stylist cares for their own hair.Service: Hairstyling

I wanted to write this review because I was highly impress with Kayla- I went in scared of how my hair would turned out due to a bad experience at another salon. Kayla took her time to listen to me and the consultation was over 30 minutes long, which to me means that she really wanted to achieve what I was looking for without damaging my hair. Kayla looked very young so I was a little afraid at first, but the end result proved that she is very talented! I am so thankful that she took her time total of 5 hours with my hair. My hair feels just as healthy as when I went in. another thing I want to note is that she took ownership- when she thought she was done and was blow drying my hair- she notice there were two pieces strands in the front that were way too light for my skin tone and she corrected it! I am so thankful for her, and I hope anyone reading this can request her because she was AMAZING!
