The food was fresh, authentic, and delicious. Good portions. 5 person group, and everyone loved their food. They have indoor and outdoor seating, we sat outside, it was a cute area. Our waitstaff was helpful and nice. We would definitely go back.
This place is wonderful.... food was fresh, good portions...chips & salsa were a step above the usual. I thoroughly enjoyed it.Food: 5/5
This is our usual Friday night takeout. Very good authentic south American food. One of the most economical restaurants in Mt Pleasant. They have always gotten our to go orders correct. Food has always been on point.Food: 5/5
Small family owned place, very affordable fast food. Street tacos were my favorite. Generous kids meals. Located in Park westRecommended dishesStreet Tacos 3
My daughter and I thought we would give this place a try! I’ve been so disappointed in many of the Mexican restaurants in the area. This one disappointed as well…….First of all, we had my granddaughter with us in her stroller. We were given SO many dirty looks by the owner and staff. I understand that it’s a small restaurant, but they should accommodate families with small children. Instead, they decided to wait on everybody but us! We finally ordered chimichangas and there was absolutely nothing in them but dry chicken and burnt, shell! No flavor at all! I would’ve given the place another try and ordered a different menu item, but the way the treated us, we will not be back. Don’t take small children in strollers there or you won’t get waited on.
I usually love this place and I will remove this review once I have spoken with the owners. I have been a loyal customer for many many years. I donate to the Sergio fund regularly and have always had an amazing experience here. Today I was in disbelief. I called in to make a takeout order. The lady named Alina was very distracted on the phone but took my order. My sister went to pick it up and noticed it is not the Sergio burrito that I ordered. It was a regular burrito. My sister then offered to wait so they can make the correct burrito but Alina told her that she won't make it unless we pay for the other one that she wrongfully put in. My sister then said, I'm sorry then I cannot order anything and you will lose customers because I have never heard of anything like this in hospitality. Aline shrugged her shoulders and said "sorry". Unbelievable. The owners weren't there, they are wonderful people but this was just about the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. No appreciation for the customer and I will 100% not eat there when I see Alina. What a rude human being.
This is the fourth time I’ve ordered carnitas and they are consistently fantastic! The skinny margarita is delicious, I’ve tried skinny margaritas from countless Mexican restaurants and this one is the best by far! Staff is friendly too. We will continue to come back!
I really enjoyed dining at this place. The owner, Juan, came out and brought our drinks and we had a good talk about where he was from and how the restaurant came to be. The food was great! The tacos had great flavor and the fried stuffed jalapenos were awesome, but be warned, they pack a punch! Try the hibiscus margarita. Actually try any of the margaritas. After a hot day walking around Old Village, the drinks left little to be desired. Even the free chips and salsa were delicious. It seems that they make their own chips, which to me, gives then a distinct advantage over your regular old Tex Mex place that one seems to frequently come across in the lowcountry. The food is pretty authentic but the salsas that come with the food were the only thing that I wanted more from. I'm used to having at least two homemade traditional salsas with some kick, but it could be that that stuff doesn't add much value considering the area.
Best authentic Mexican around the area hands down. Since moving to MP, my husband and I were on the search for great Mexican. Chips and salsa were fresh and tasty. We ordered asada tacos and the carne asada platter. Both were exceptional. Very friendly staff and quick service. Definitely our new go to spot!!!Food: 5/5
Wonderful food & family friendly unlike review from “ Wendy “ below! We bring our young children every single time! The owners actually have a young son 3 years old I think so this place is the exact opposite of not family friendly!Food: 5/5
