I visited here on a Sunday evening around 7:20pm. One of my friends invited me to see Smile earlier in the day. I’ve been to this theater before but it’s typically not my go too simple due distance as others are closer to where I live. They typically have good prices in comparison to other theaters in the area. They are typically not very crowded either. When I got out my car, it smelled like mulch but I didn’t see any fresh mulch around. It wasn’t busy at all. My friend and I both got a regular popcorn and medium drink. I added butter on mine. The popcorn definitely wasn’t fresh and tasted like end of the day popcorn, sadly. We ate it though lol. The seats are stadium seats and nothing special to them. We were in theater 9 and I noticed some of the tiles from the ceiling missing. Repairs are definitely needed. There were no issues with the audio and everything else was fine.
This place has lots of movie options, friendly staff, reasonable prices and is relatively clean. I like this place, it has a good atmosphere and is never crowded.
It felt like stepping back in time, to the 1990''s. ⏳ It really needs a revamp of its accommodations! After being exposed to theaters, as in "The Marquee" with their soft reclining seats I know I'll never return to this place. After an hour my back started to become stiff. There isn't enough leg room either. The seats feel more like sitting on those folding aluminum chairs, with a 1 inch cushion. That makes for a sour bottom! I'm just a little under 6' tall. Baseball and football athletes stay away!
I love this place! It has good movies, great prices and is quite.
Nothing against the staff, just a bad experience inside the theater. I'm unsure if this is a regular experience or just ours. Someone lit up a cigarette or black and mild in the middle of the movie. My wife asked them to put it out, because - who does that? You haven't been allowed to smoke indoors for years, you're in an enclosed area, and it's extremely inconsiderate to others. There could have been hospital bills involved due to an asthma attack from the smoke I'm sure that person wouldn't/couldn't afford. You can't go 2 hours without a cigarette? After the movie, the person who was smoking actually hit my wife with a water bottle and promptly exited the theater as I tried to confront them. Hopefully others who visit can just simply enjoy their movie.
We love this place. It's like a tucked away secret hide-out. But it was packed when we saw the new Spider-Man movie. The staff is awesome: considerate, smiling, professional. I love the free drink refills. Affordable theatre. Highly recommend!
The seats were uncomfortable and a lot of the people around me were messing on they're phones the entire time the movie was playing. There was also a really bad smell and the popcorn was stale. Honestly would not go back to this theater again. Only nice thing i can say is that the workers were really friendly.
Theater shows its age, desperately needs an update. There were ceiling tiles missing in the theater and the chairs are the old theater style. Staff was nice which saves the day.
Wow this theater is definitely in the upper echelon of theaters! I took my pops out for his 70th birthday for a big steak dinner and topped it off with my favorite childhood super hero Spider Man! This new one had Toby,Andrew, and the young new spider man in it. The reclining seats were great and the price was fair. I'll checkout the food next time. I didn't know they went beyond popcorn, candy and drinks!
Today was the last day AMC was opened. Will miss this theater. The nostalgia and memories it brought. Times change and people dont want to spend the money to go to the movies occasionally anymore or they want recliner seats. First, the Cinemark, now AMC/Carmike. So long old friend. Watched Wakanda Forever for my farewell movie. I want the Menu stand-up uf anyone sees this. I had talked to the manager a few weeks ago and he took my info.
