Those of you who didn't want to wear a mask, maybe you should have stayed home instead of blasting the funeral home for following CDC guidelines. Maybe you should have grieved in private. Obviously it was about your selfish behavior.
I don't know what happened with some of you. Braggs did a sensational job sending my brother off.when the family was confused and didn't know up from down they stepped in and took control.i couldn't be more pleased with the way they worked .Many thanks to the staff at Braggs. From beginning to end they were very professional. The Ellis Family
Unethical conduct and all around unprofessional funeral and memorial services. My experience with them was unpleasant as the funeral home director and staff frequently bothered me about wearing a mask "per CDC guidelines." Funeral services are personal, emotional and often upsetting for many people that want to be close to their loved ones while grieving; COVID-19 is not going to change that and it shouldn't. It was sickening to me when the funeral director came up to me and told me that I would be escorted from the wake if I didn't wear a mask. It was more comfortable not to wear a mask because I was crying off and on, and occasionally breathing heavy. In hindsight, I should have explained that to her but I wasn't thinking I was grieving or trying to. I was disgusted, infuriated, upset and nauseated. It was insensitivity in the last place you would expect. They also made frequent announcements during service about wearing masks. If this funeral home was genuinely concerned about COVID-19 and our safety then why didn't they enforce social distancing and other safety precautions? As of July 28, 2021 the latest CDC guidance is only a recommendation, not a mandate. Threatening to escort me out of the wake under the false pretense that masks are required per CDC guidelines is grossly inappropriate. Adding insult to injury, the Obituary was full of typos, the memorial card also had a typo.
They helped ease the confusion and extra heartache of planning my mom's funeral. They were there to answer the phone around the clock and went above and beyond to accommodate our family and ensure everything was as easy as possible during this very difficult time of loss. My sincerest eternal gratitude to everyone at Bragg who helped us during the services. Mom was in the best possible hands and their compassion is limitless. Thanks from the bottom of my heart, God bless you.
These guys did a a funeral service for my wife's grandfather. Some family members were not wearing a mask at the wake and these people individually, confrontationally, went up to people throughout the funeral and told people they had to wear masks. They even made an announcement at the wake that everyone had to wear a mask, and glared at anyone who didn't have one. They harassed family members individually about it. Furthermore, they misspelled names on the obituary and there were several typos. You don't confront people like that during the lost of a love one. My wife cried because of the way they acted. Horribly unprofessional. They will say they are following CDC guidelines as an excuse for their actions, but that is nothing more than an excuse. We all have our opinions on masks and Covid, but there is a time and place to address how you feel about that and this isn't one of them.
They have been burying my family for years. They gave us great services and support. They work with you even if your loved one didn’t have life insurance. Braggs funeral home honors ,loves , and support all families that come to them.
Thanks to all Mr.Braggs and all the workers,God bless you and your family.when my late mother passed her face especially her lips was a sight you don't want to look at.7/10/ at the funeral I was so impressed at the way her complextion we're back almost the way it was and her lips, omg no lipstick, I have to bend to really make sure I was not seeing wrong.Awesome
Attended a funeral last week and everything was done to perfection. From the service to how much like herself my cousin looked to the warm and welcoming staff
The staff was just wonderful and professional right there to help you with whatever we need my family and I were very satisfied with there services for our love one.
My experience with Braggs was horrible they cremated my Dad didn’t send his gold necklace he had nor place his ashes in an urn I’m disappointed with their services living in Charlotte NC was already difficult but they were very unprofessional during my most difficult time calling them constantly about my Dad’s remains but they had no problem taking my 25 dollars for a death certificate and 3600 for the cremation now I have to buy my dad an urn sent him in a cardboard box
