This was my second time cruising with Carnival and my first time on the Breeze. This port has the boarding process down to a science. It's very efficient and quick kinda like a Chick-fil-A drive thru. The ship itself was clean, and there were plenty of activities to keep you busy on see days. I usually spend a lot of time at the buffet, but I changed it up on this cruise and used the anytime dining. It just seems cleaner than the buffet, and you don't have everyone putting their grubby hands on everything, and you won't be tempted to eat as much. The dining room food was excellent, and I'm posting a few pictures so you can get an idea of the variety offered. I'll definitely use Carnival again in the future.
Carnival Cruises are amazing! Loved the cruise it was perfection. They streamlined the Muster station and training so we didn’t even attend it. The food was wonderful like Guys burgers and the Cantina. And the Pizzeria was delicious! The guy making pizzas gave us an entire pizza on our plate! Hello! How awesome are you!? Haha! The slide by pool was incredible! Oh I was on Carnival Dream. I highly recommend you go on the Carnival Dream and please enjoy yourself as much as I did!! Love this cruise line!
Magical cruise line. Two decade negativity erased from my and family life after cruising with them for 9 days and 8 nights. Great hospitality. Fantastic cruise. Sailing in such a big and infinite sea was so natural and magical !
Despite the number of people at the cruise terminal, the staff does an amazing job of managing the flow of things. As soon as you reach the terminal, you are greeted by staff to take your luggage to the ship so you can just carry your backpack or purse. The lines are a little confusing. However, the staff are always pointing you in the right direction. Stay hydrated beforehand because it will be about an hour and a half before you can find anything to drink. The vending machines at the terminal don't work. So keep that in mind. All in all, it's a pretty decent terminal.
Everyone there is very helpful. They work hard to get you on and off the ships very fast. The parking lot right at the cruise terminal is small, but they have several large lots with shuttles that will get you to and from the terminal.
We had a great time on our first cruise! We thought our cruise director, Lawrence, was very funny & charming. Our steward, Sudana, was amazing at directing us if we were lost or just genuinely wanting to know how we are doing. He is such a sweetheart!! He was concerned for me when I lost my phone and asked every time he saw me in the hallway if I found it. Sudana definitely deserves a promotion! A personal map of the ship would have been helpful. We got a little lost trying to find the Limelight Lounge that was having a comedy show. Arrived a couple minutes late and it was closed because too many people. We were confused on which dining room to go to for free food besides the buffet Guy's burgers and the Blue Iguana are really good! The Marketplace buffet is... okay. The red drain slide has a bump at the end and I hit my head. I will say the TV in the room was a bonus we didn't expect. The map channel is awesome!
Had an awesome time. It was my first cruise and I recommend this cruise for first timers.
Nice port for carnival ships. Process are nicely organized. It’s better to come at the time they said in the appointment else you will need to stay in the line longer. Facial recognition in and out was wonderful. Uber and Lyft pickup can be arranged better as we need to walk to railroad museum to take the cab.
Came here on a family vacation. There were a lot of fun things to do and I noticed that there was some sort of special treatment towards the Caucasians from most the crew members. Specifically the filipinos. The only nicest, kindest, and warmest individual that I’ve met compared to the rest of the crew ship staff was our housekeeper. He learned our names and talked with us throughout our stay, he even also left cute towel animals in our room. The excursions are overpriced, however, so I suggest anyone who plans on buying the excursions on the website to choose an alternative and budget friendly option. When you’re off the ship, look for the individuals who carry a little board that will show you different kinds of activities and itineraries at an affordable and cheaper prices. Also make sure to always bring cash with you because they tax crazy!
First cruise! Everything so far so good. Ive been on the cruise for 3 days, I think. I haven’t had a bad experience yet. The best part has been the food, our server Yordan @ Sapphire, and probably the Love and Marriage show hosted by the Cruise Director, Alex. I think Love and Marriage as well as 88 Keys starring Joel were the absolute best 2 shows. They were that good! My concern with Carnival is that they treat and pay their staff good. I haven’t/ hadn’t heard any complaints from any staff member and all the staff was so nice and helpful, but employee treatment is always a concern of mine when I see so many foreigners working for Americans. I think I’ll do another cruise next year with Carnival.
