This review is for the inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital in Pineville. This place is absolutely amazing and life-changing! The OT and PT therapists are exceptional. They provide information about my condition and treatment. They explain what I'm doing and why I'm doing it then they demonstrate it for me. My stroke recovery will be enhanced by the teaching and assistance that I am being given. I can't say enough things about the wonderful staff here. The room is very spacious and is well-appointed for having guests come and visit. The food here is absolutely amazing. Top quality. But again I cannot say enough how much I personally value and appreciate the OT and PT therapy staff. They have changed my life!
This is a wonderful place!! My son has received and still receiving top notch care here. Everyone is so attentive to all of his needs. I highly recommend this facility for long term hospital care!! Nurses, CNA's, physical therapists, respiratory therapists and all staff are wonderful and caring!!
Dwight Jackson received excellent care,Nursing, Doctors and other staff. Our case manager,Michael was excellent and he kept us updated On the admissions and discharge plans. He discharged toRehab unit. Physical therapy and staff were great.Thank you for your care. The food was great and it was hot.
AVOID IF AT ALL POSSIBLE!! This facility is Awful, the staff is unprofessional the care that my father received was terrible and honestly down right negligent. I’m grateful that we were able to get him transferred out of there before something worse happened to him. On one occasion we found him wet in the bed and no one was around to change him. The WORST occurrence was when my dad stopped breathing and there was no nurse or staff at there desk. My mom had to scream for help. The night shift is deplorable! All they do is heavily medicate the patient so they don’t have to tend to them. Please please please don’t let your loved one end up here
If you care for your loved one you will never send them here. They literally shortened my husbands life. Gave him Valium so they wouldn’t have to bother with him then fed him when he wasn’t alert enough to swallow. After he aspirated the respiratory therapist didn’t know how to properly intubate him and damaged his vocal cords. He never recovered and died of bacterial pneumonia.
Carolinas CountinueCARE Hospital is the best. I love the effort that the nurses and doctors take to give excellent care to their patients. Food and Nutritional Services are wonderful group of employees . Everyone is well mannered and make sure each patients food request are full filled.
My brother in law was here for 2 weeks until his passing. I can't Imagine a more caring and attentive staff.
My husband spent 6 weeks at this facility after a month long stay in the ICU battling covid pneumonia. I spent 12 hours a day with my husband at this facility while he was recovering so I got know the doctors, respiratory therapist, nurses & nurse assistants very well. Their care met & exceeded my/our expectations. On a daily basis we met with Dr Perlman and/or his PA, Sandy. We were very pleased with the communication. Both were always willing to listen to any & all questions & concerns. The respiratory therapist were all great with the ventilator weaning process. So thankful for the patience that was taken with my husband while he suffered from anxiety during this time. Julie ended up being our case manager at the end of my husband's stay. All I can say is that she went way above & beyond for us when it was time for discharge. We are forever grateful for the care my husband received during his stay here.
Nurses don’t throw their trash away. Room always has various medical trash laying around the floors, cupboard, patient food table , and on the patients bed. Patty melt bread was so hard I couldn’t cut it with a knife.
Was in an accident on August 28,2021. I can't really remember what happened .Was carried to this hospital. I was there 3 months and received the best care. The nurses were excellent. The respiratory therapist was exceptional. The Cnaswere the best. Pat Elizabeth and Fred were there when you needed them. Not being able to do anything for my self in the beginning they took the time to bathe me and didn't grumble. Hats of to Dr. Jason Pearlman for being so kind and compassionate. I would give them more stars but there's ony 5. And The meals were always hot and tasted good. Hats off to Danielle for her friendliness. There are other people that I would like to mention but I don't want to write a book. But I don't have any complaints about my stay. Thank you guys for your service
