Impressive selection of ALL genres/styles. Whatever you're into, they likely have several if not dozens of options. Zero BS sales pitches, and their prices are on point. I was in maybe 2 mins and found a Zastava model I'd be looking for for a very good price. Zero pressure by the gentleman behind the counter, and the lady working alongside him was knowledgeable and very polite as well. Write-up took all of four minutes and they ensured I got a chance to look into everything on my purchase as well as the accessories included. Too often do you walk into a gun store and the egos abound; not here, just a clean, vast selection and people to assist you with any questions or selected purchases. I'm certain they have to deal with idiots now and then, but I applaud their service yesterday and they likely gained a lifelong customer. When you're in for a visit, check out the MPX they have available, it took everything in me not to have him add it to the purchase pile. Good people here.
This was my first visit to Carson Armory and Forrest and James were as friendly as could be. Great customer service as well as nice selection of ammo and accessories. I will be back soon
I have dealt with Carson Armory for about 30-years. I have NEVER had a negative experience. Wonderful folks. I recommend them every chance I get.
I went to Carson Armory for the first time last week. I found a rifle I liked and bought it. When I came back to pick the rifle up, Eileen told me I could add more, since she had the paperwork for the background right there, if I wanted and I found another nice rifle I liked, so I bought that one too. They were very fair with their prices, the reason I bought 2 from them. And very polite and respectful and willing to help. I also like their inventory. For a small store, they have a lot of good things, even some AR parts, a lot of holsters, scope mounts and some ammo. I'll keep coming back to Carson Armory, even though I live 150 miles from them. If you like looking at older guns, like I do, this is the store for you to check out. They don't have a huge selection, but what they did have was nice quality stuff at decent prices. Thanks again to the Carson Armory staff. You guys are great!!!
Great place I use this place for gun transfers fast and easy. I usually buy off of Gunbroker.
Tried ordering a pistol there, Eileen Sp? is very good with that and very helpful. I have been going there through the years and it has gone downhill with customer service outside of the above mentioned. It's primarily run by kids who have no idea of weapons, respecting customers or representing the business. I ordered a weapon online and went there to pick it up but was treated like I was inconveniencing them, as if they were doing me a favor taking my money. To the owner, I've seen this type of behavior before and it doesn't end well. Do you know what's going on when you are away?

Had a good selection of guns both old and new. Other than that was not a great store no ammo for anything. Went there multiple times and the same two people were working. Neither of which seemed very knowledgeable of any firearms. The guns they did have were not very reasonably priced and they were very set on their prices.
I have done business with Eileen for over 15 years and have always been treated with respect and dignity. Her prices are always fair, service outstanding, attention to detail superior, and the shop is honest in all its dealings. There is no other shop with whom I am willing to do business. Carson Armory is a jewel in the Nevada desert. P.S. Will too!
My parents had a gun store in Carson City for many years, and when they finally retired I had to find another store to do gun business with. I don't know how long I've done business with Carson Armory, but I've purchased my new guns there, my ammo there, and my accessories there. I like doing business with them and I trust them.
