A great option for dinner. We were sat immediately and taken to a quiet table set away from the bar. The atmosphere was pleasant and the decor was casual, close to a sports bar. The food really elevated the experience! Both entrees tasted as though the pasta was made fresh in house. The chicken marsala had a rich taste with a creamy sauce. The chicken was moist with a slight char to it. The tortellini was firm and rich and smothered in Alfredo complimented nicely by lightly sauteed veggies. A great option for anyone craving pasta for dinner.
We decided to try a new place for lunch. The clam chowder was amazing! I had a bowl and it was very large. Soups are homemade and I lucked out being there when this was available. It is one of my favorites. I also had a Caesar salad which was delicious. My Mom had a chicken sandwich. I'll have to look up the exact name of the menu items and edit this. Our waitress was Clara. She was very friendly, right on the ball and seemed happy with her job. I would certainly give it a try!
We didn’t have high expectations going here but I have to say the food and service here was amazing! We started out by being served the house bread with a vinegar/oil dip. Took one bite and the bread melted in my mouth...that got my attention! Next up was a cup of their homemade cream of mushroom soup and it was just as good as the bread, well maybe not as good but it was right up there. The main course was breaded pork chops and Risotto. I will have to say these were the best pork chops we’ve ever eaten. The Risotto was delicious also. On their Facebook page it states that they wanted to create an inviting place. They’ve accomplished this. I felt very peaceful here and very well taken care of. So kudos to all the staff here. Great job! I’m happy that we’ve found a restaurant locally that we’ll be returning to time and time again. If in Manitowoc, you need to stop here for sure!
Their apple cider mimosa is super refreshing. And, look at this fish fry, amazing! they have outdoor seating, staff wear masks
Restaurant was friendly and food was great, went with a group of people and the waitresses were friendly. However, check your receipts before you leave. We ended up getting charged for the entire parties food and they continued to charge everyone everyone else as well. Manager said they had nothing stating this issue but our account was charged. We ended up getting our money back minus the meal. We had to wait about a week and ended up without that money to pay bills. Bad customer service as far as the manager making sure that the issue was resolved. And still charged us. Will not return.
I gave only four stars because the seating in the dining room needs updating; it's uncomfortable and the tables are crammed together in a small space. That being said, the food was amazing! I had the chicken marsala, my date had a pizza. Both were delicious! The service was great; we were checked on without her hovering. And she was very friendly and enthusiastic about the food. I would definitely recommend.
I understand that finding employees are hard to find, there was 1bartender and 1 waitress in the bar area. We sat at a table the hostess took us to, and no one talked to us for at least 10 minutes. Another 5 to get our drinks and then another 10 - 15 to get the bread basket. That was followed quickly by our food. The food was delicious! By the time our waitress checked back, we were ready for boxes. I don't mind waiting, if I am acknowledged. Maybe the bartender could have done that.
Hands down best and favorite place I’ve ever worked. The food is phenomenal! The team is fun to work with. The owner, Mark, does a great job at literally everything he does! Highly recommend bringing your family or even just to grab a drink during our 4-6 Tuesday-Friday Happy Hour!
Hi my family and I went to the restaurant and it started right at the stairs. There were four people minimum that asked us if we've been helped yet, we replied no as we were still standing on the stairs to get in the place. Eventually we were seated and the wait staff asked us what we would like to drink they brought us four Waters and then brought us our drinks 10 minutes later. Our waitress explained she had a girl that she was training which was fine but our waitress was very chatty and not very professional as a trainer she continued to give her opinion about the food how much she like this how much she like that. She finally took our order after a very lengthy conversation she explained what the specials were but we're never given a price of any of those specials until I got my bill, two other couples came in received their drinks their food before we even got our food it's like they forgot all about our food and then they brought the wrong Pizza for my son so that had to be remade because she did not understand when he ordered it. She continued to apologize for the wait, the food was good it was not hot was warm, we continue to get our own drinks from the bar come on now this place was not busy there was not a lot of people there if you were busy you would be in trouble. She did go as far to give us a dessert that was comped on the restaurant for the issues that had happened through the meal, I am not a person to complain about the meal or a place but I frequent this restaurant for many many years when it was Tony's and never ever did i have a problem. I will give it another chance please make it right as I did spend a generous amount of money and left a generous tip which I did not have to as quite frankly the service was poor. But I'm not that kind of person I am a foodie and I do appreciate and respect a new restaurants and believe me you better make it right. I'm sorry for being so blunt but you do have good food it is a nice place and I don't want to see you fail.
Not overly impressed. We had a very attentive young lady server, but food was only mediocre. Our appetizer was bruschetta... Bread was burned and sweet sauce balsamic... Why? poured over was over the top.... Entree only fair
