Good food. And pretty good salsa. I feel like it was a little over priced but still good food. There didn’t seem to be a lot of vegetarian options but I did enjoy the burrito and just asked it to be made without meat. Also… if you’re someone who love red cream soda they have it here on tap.Dine in: YesTakeout: Yes
Stumbled upon this place and it was so good. It’s a similar menu to Costa Vida and Cafe Rio but I’d now choose this place over all of them. Amazing food and quick service. Definitely recommend.Recommended dishesSalsa, Burrito
Found this little hole in the wall spot close to the freeway on Google. I read the reviews and thought to give it a try. This place didn't disappoint. Their food is good and the service was awesome, prices were similar to Cafe Rio. I did appreciate the sign giving a heads up about a 10% gratuity due too being short staffed. I had a burrito with red sauce. The red sauce might be a little spicy. Also if you don't like guacamole you won't like their salsa. We in fact loved it. We will be going back and trying other items on the menu. Also bonus they have a drive thru!
I ordered through DoorDash. My flautas were burned, I couldn’t even cut into them, it was so overcooked. I didn’t receive the sour cream I paid extra for, it usually comes with sour cream to begin with. The quesadilla I ordered came with chips, but no salsa like it normally does. No one answers the phone, it rings and rings. Frustrating.
This place is bonkers. The name is literally Casa Salza, the advertisements on the front of the building says "Salsa, lovers, unite". They advertise homemade salsa everyday. I ate there and there was no salsa except for the store-bought versions like Chloe and what not. The whole reason I ate there is because I'm a salsa lover and I was under the impression that we were uniting. Don't get me wrong. The place is fine. The food was good .The one star is because the marketing was all salsa, specifically appealing to people that like salsa and there was no salsa. None zero. No salsa bar. No salsa taste. No salsa. That's crazy... Right?
The only thing they got right was that I ordered a quesadilla. I ordered a chicken one and they gave me a pork one. I ordered rice, beans, sour cream, and pico inside, and got none of that. I ordered a 4oz ranch and they gave me a 2oz. I dont know if anyone a Casa Salza passed kindergarten but I doubt it after what I just experienced. I couldnt even focus on trying to enjoy the food because all I could think about is that they got EVERYTHING wrong.
Tonight was a total disappointment! Waiting 25 minutes for them to make fresh salsa to not even get it when we finally got our order, cold. I have no other words for tonight's service other than utterly disappointing.
The amount of meat in their tacos is consistently meager. $8 for a tortilla full of lettuce? Flavor is good but value is not.
You have to spend about twelve dollars to get something that might taste good. We spent $21 to get this, and it was all really quite bland. Nothing stands out, not even their "fresh made premium salsa". You can better food else where, where the chips and salsa are free and taste good too.
I got the wrapped shredded pork burrito since I was traveling, it's easier to eat. Love the California style.Food: 5/5
