Awesome food here guys. Plan on a wait every time you come here, but that says a lot about the food. I’m always impressed by the salsa and fajitas they are yummy. Will be eating here again for sure.Recommended dishesFlautas Plate, Steak Fajitas, Chips and Salsa
Stopped in with my wife & 2-year-old on Saturday afternoon around 4:30-5pm. It was decently busy, but near what it was by the time we left. Food was delicious, good atmosphere, staff was fantastic. I wish I could remember our server’s name, but she was great, as were the other staffers we encountered, whether in passing or if they brought out food or held the door for us on our way out. We’ll definitely be back again soon! OH! And their frozen margaritas were awesome! A lot more sour than sweet, just the way I like ‘em.
I’ll be honest - I really don’t think there’s better Mexican food in the state of Texas. I live an hour away and have tried every Mexican food place in my area Jan’s the surrounding areas… nothing compares to this place. I hate the drive but will gladly make it for the fresh salsa, chips, queso, and the most amazing chicken!
Casa Torres is the absolute best authentic Mexican restaurant in Decatur. Wife and I are so impressed with this establishment and the food is so good and tasty.. We have been here 3 times now and took pictures this time.. The owner is on site and a very nice man he is.. the service is great. We highly recommend Casa Torres to everyone. This is a awesome place to take love one for date night, or catch a great meal with the family. We will do Casa Torres once a week..
6-24-2021 I pulled up this restaurant on Google and it had 4.6 stars so I was pretty impressed. We pull up and the parking lot is pretty full so I think this food has got to be good. We start off with Chips, sauce and some queso thats was 3 stars. Then we ordered combination fajitas beef were pretty good the chicken didn't have much flavor to them. The tortillas were not homemade the rice was ok the beans were good. Now let talk about the waiter we had. At 1st we thought he was going to be good then we ran out of drinks so we place them on the outside of our table and he passed us 4 times and don't even ask us for refills. We had to call another worker for refills and he brought us new cups with drinks real fast. Our waited finally stopped and seen our new drinks and asked if we needed any more drinks lol we already have new drinks. It was decent, we have been wanting to try it for awhile as the line is always long. We arrived a little before 5 and did not have to wait. The atmosphere was kind of dark, but the decor was interesting. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The food was ok, nothing to write home about, the menu seemed to be the same 2 or 3 meals repeated in slight variations. Good if you like fajita style Mexican food I had tacos and while the meat was well seasoned, the grilled onions kind of threw off the 'street taco's feel. Wife enjoyed her Monterey chicken, and the bite of it I tried was pretty good. Overall it was definitely a Tex-mex vs authentic Mexican food, might try it again, but generally speaking not my style. Parking: Small parking lot, usually full.
Tex Mex at an affordable price. We have been eating at Casa Torres since it began in a small old house a long time ago. We’ve watched it grow into its modern large building because it is consistent in taste and quality - you never say a food tastes different, served quickly - faster than some “fast food” restaurants, extremely well run, is delicious true Tex Mex, and is affordable priced. My personal favorite is #18, the chicken enchiladas with green sauce, but #8 and the shredded chicken nachos are also top notch. Probably the most popular restaurant in the county for locals.
We are so excited to find this fabulous restaurant. Our first time here and the meal was hot and delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive. The chicken enchiladas were excellent and served promptly. The sweet tea was amazing! Highly recommend.
It was great. But... they need to speed things up. Watching servers write down everything on a ticket and hoping they've tallied up the correct price is crazy. Are they calculating the price correctly? Am I paying for all my food? Did I overpay? A pos with an actual receipt is absolutely necessary. Plus, it would cut down on the long wait. It's definitely a must-have for a restaurant as busy as Casa Torres.
Best Mexican food I have had in a long time. I mean everything hit today. The chips were warm and tasty, the hot sauce was not too hot or mild but it was sooo favorable. I had a cheese and beef enchiladas with beans and rice- all well, perfect and I never say everything is perfect. Normally at a Mexican restaurant something is good, but something is just okay. My highest recommendation. Oh and the service- despite being very busy with a note that stated they were short staffed, everything was fine. Our server, Jesús did an excellent job while waiting on several tables.
