The Provost Scholars Program is a partnership between Case Western Reserve University (CWRU), Heritage Middle School (Heritage), and Shaw High School, in the East Cleveland City Schools. Students in the sixth, seventh, and eighth grades will be invited to participate in a variety of academic-related activities that are ongoing at CWRU. All efforts will be designed to help the Scholars expand their creative and critical thinking and problem solving, strengthen their study habits and time management, improve their interpersonal proficiencies, and explore additional ways of thinking about educational pathways and career options through mentoring and relationship building with CWRU faculty and staff.
Provide enriching educational, interpersonal, and character development experiences for youths who are at risk for academic failure through mentoring by CWRU faculty members.
