Catholic Cemeteries of Spokane

Very disappointed by the lack of compassion and empathy from a place that is supposed to be a non-profit and "for the families". Staff was impatient and were very sneaky about prices of things while going through the whole process. We were constantly being told about another cost and fee for something they would fail to mention from the beginning. In addition, the director we worked with admittedly wrote the death notice incorrectly and refused to do anything to help in getting it corrected. Do NOT trust your loved ones here.

This is a very special place for me and it's a beautiful and quiet setting that my children enjoyed experiencing. Desperate prayers were answered here many years ago in the mausoleum chapel.

It is nice and big and very well taken care of, a lot of visitors daily

Was very disappointed!! Went out Sunday evening May 30th, 2021. Could not find my friends greave again it was all covered with grass. He has only a little grave maker! Because family did not have money to get a larger headstone!! Is it not their job to keep the grass cleaned off all markers no matter how big or small?? We did find it & cleaned it off the best we could!! Very upset

Mom passed late Sep . 2019. Already had crypt with my Dad buried. Mom was going into same crypt, just needed bronze plaque updated with her info. Was told would take 6 weeks to do that. Well went by many times, was still just a board over the crypt. On Monday, Jan 13th 2020, went inside office, and told them how upset our family was. So they checked, and said it would be installed that afternoon. Honestly, not happy. They did do her service in the chapel, it was a nice space for it. The team was helpful overall in making plans, obit and selection of casket.

Seems sad to me that the children's section of the cemetery continues to have a smashed out fence along Wall / Monroe Street. Ironic that those who are gone and most vulnerable and Holy Family Cemetary can't use some of their funds to replace such a small section of fencing. I stopped by the office and was told by the director it's an insurance matter. If, God forbid, it was a child of mine interred there, I would want the peace and serenity of the fence being there. A very public view of lack of compassion in my opinion!

Father passed away on the 4th of 2018 came in memorial day 2019 found out his grave stone was still not placed when everything was paid in full over a year prior. Returned a 2nd time on the 5th of July a full year after and grave stone still not placed.

Grim place on your venture home. I haven't heard of any vandalism here or anything negative. The house's for sale and rent in this area are hard to come by because their so desirable in North Spokane. BTW the district in this area is district 81.

Try to get things resolved As far as putting my family on the property that I purchased several years ago finding out that someone else is there then they want to re-charge me for everything dealt with Lisa and Rick Lisa is OK they like to play good cop bad cop McLean rec used to be a car dealer so that’s how we treat the people that come in there like they’re buying a car
