The most unprofessional and disorganized airport I've ever been to. It was bad with SkyWest, but Denver Air Connection is worse. Expect your checked luggage to always be opened and inspected but never properly closed. If you park here, expect your car and property to be vandalized, and don't expect any response from anyone who "runs" the airport. You think a small airport would function more quickly, but you need to arrive at least an hour before the flight, because TSA is only open for about 20 random minutes. They will turn you away 45 minutes before the flight. Also Denver Air Connect provides absolutely no updates on in regards to anything. Good luck returning from Denver, because they might send you to an entirely different city if they can even find a pilot. The plane is questionable at best. Avoid the rear unless you want to be nauseous from noxious fumes since they don't seem to service the cabin. I'm curious how many people move out of Kearney because of this airport. I would warn people to avoid moving or traveling here because of this pathetic "airport."
I do have to say this is the smallest airport I've ever been in. It was nice and clean and everyone was helpful and friendly. You sit in a little waiting area with about 25 seats and wait until they open the door for you to go through security. There is more seating on the other side of security. They have nice bathrooms, vending machines and a car rental place. You definitely don't need to be there an hour and a half early.
Tiny but super efficient. A real fine example of how flying could be.

Be careful leaving your car parked at the airport they are having Concrete work done by Paulsen Concrete and they hit my vehicle with a dump truck pushing my bumper all the way into my tire. Their driver admitted it but they are saying since I have no proof they are not paying for the repairs.
Im sorry but after Denver air connection took over I'm Going from 5 stars to 1. I am aware of dozens of people that Now drive to Lincoln to avoid this airport. DAC is awful. 70% of flights have issues and delays. I use this airport twice a month, and after literally 70% issue rate, I'm done with them. 2 hour drive to Lincoln is sadly worth it.
Not enough service routes. Parking is free and the employees are pleasant and helpful. There are restroom facilities before and after you go through TSA security. No onsite food options, but there is a vending machine. Thrifty car rental is onsite, but you ought to have a reservation because I don't think they staff the desk all day long. 12/2022 update: Kearney has lost their ORD route and only has commercial service to DEN now. Airport terminal is going through a renovation, expected completion next year. On the bright side you can comfortably show up 30min before boarding time at this airport.

Small airport with friendly staff. There is not much to this airport, everything is very easily laid out. The TSA process is usually quick. They have added to the parking lot, giving a lot more room to park. Looks like they are doing construction on the taxiway as well. Everyone was very polite and friendly through the whole process.
Its regional airport but staff beginning united airlines.frontlines. TSA and local sheriff are open minded and they are here to help you i miss you kearney Nebraska.
