I enjoyed my stay for several reasons…large site, very nice employees and very peaceful and quite. Cons: VERY dark where the RV sites are and if you have friends in the cabins you will have to drive there or rent a golf cart. They are close to a mile apart! Some of the permanent sites are very well kept however deeper into the campground is not. There were no activities going on for the entire week we stayed and I would have liked some activities for kids to do. My friends stayed in cabins and had some had issues with the cabins being dirty and some said there cabins were spotless. One friend found a little mouse in her cabin however that is to be expected in the woods I guess. Pros: large RV sites and very nice cabins. Honestly I don’t think the pictures online do them justice. Very quite at least in the RV spots. We got a deluxe full hook up and it was like 80 feet long with a patio. I was told when I booked that it had a BBQ grill but it didn’t. Bottom line: would I book again? Yes!!
We had a great trip at KOA! Cabins were clean, staff was friendly and we had a great time. There’s a perfect amount of space between cabins that’s not too loud if you don’t know your neighbors, and close enough to enjoy if you are with friends! Great family atmosphere, we will be back!!!
Easy to get to from Interstate 80. Camping in a 41' foot fifth wheel and our site was HUGE. No issues with space. Unfortunately there was no sewer hook up at our site but the campground is working on it and it appears it will be available soon. Campground is very large. Did not see any staff monitoring the campground, which is unusual for KOA's we typically visit. Lots of permanent sites, which are in the outlying perimeters of the campground. Appears younger kids can drive golf carts thru the campground, some were a bit reckless. No enforcement of quiet hours. Over all, great for overnight guests travelling the interstate and for permanent campers.
Very clean, quiet, peaceful. The only bad parts were driving 5 miles at 25 mph through the gated community and then at our site the gravel needs to be leveled out, luckily we had an extra step with us or I'd of never gotten into our camper was still a big step from that to the actual steps as the first step was at least a good 2 feet off the ground up to my husband's knee. We are used to at other KOAs people driving around selling firewood & a staff presence. Very nice place, but probably won't come back to this KOA.
We had a great time this past week. The family cabins are really great! Our children had a blast. The bounce pad was a huge win.
Stayed in a cabin. The area is beautiful but the bathroom in our cabin was beyond disgusting. The shower floor was filled with dirt and I can't even discribe the toilet.
Huge campsites in the new section and very nice new restroom and shower facilities but the campground is a long way in from the main road.
Lovely place. Saw deer all along the road grazing coming in. Beautiful scenery. Kids loved the surprisingly large pool, bounce pads and playground. Not many campers midweek in July, which was nice.
Visited this location while on a road tip with my family on our way to Niagara Falls. Nice customer service! No complaints regarding the site. Sites are decently spaced. A lot of long term/ permanent tv residents but everyone was very nice! Would definitely come back.
Nice campground, clean facilities, friendly staff. We stayed in a pull through space with electric and water hookup, they do have some full hookup sites available as well. Had plenty of room, even able to have our back deck open on our toy hauler, and site was easy to level on. Pool was clean, and snack bar was nice for ice cream treats. We enjoyed our stay and play to stay here again.
