Cedar Haven Family Campground

Beautiful camp ground. Well taken care of! Had a chance to speak to the owner outside the bathroom. He is a wonderful man! This is one of the nicest campgrounds we have been too. Even the outhouses/privy are pristine. Happy to have happened upon this place!Location: 5/5

Got charged an extra $55 for electric which we barely used. Owners held my debit card number which meant that we barely had enough money to return home until we were able to straighten the mess out with our bank. Quiet hours were never observed and people were constantly walking through our campsite. We will never return

Really liked the family friendly atmosphere and the owners seem to do a good job an ensuring that campers adhere to rules. They have full hookup electrical, water, sewer and that’s quite convenient. Bathrooms and facilities are clean. For tenting though, the space is not ideal as they are lined with driveway gravel are pointy and uncomfortable.

Exceptionally well maintained family campground. We used site 3 right next to the office because we were trailering back and forth for an event nearby and needed an easy pull through space for each night with our 26' camper trailer. It was easy enough to drive into and the firepit next to the office wound up fairly private since we didn't have a neighbor on that side. None of the sites have much privacy, but the campground is extremely well maintained, very nice hosts, great playground for the kids, etc. Very close location to Freeport also.

We were very pleasantly surprised by this campground and it’s family friendly atmosphere. You can tell they really care about the grounds. It’s very simple but perfect for what it is….which is a small family owned campground. We appreciate the attention to details. Cute gift shop, great playground with tons of things to play on, cool basketball area with scooters and toddler toys to play on, a cute pond to kayak in. We stayed here a weekend to be close to Freeport shopping. Such a convenient location. We shopped at LL bean and Freeport area one day. Went walking around Wolfes Neck Woods another day. I would come back and stay here again. Sites were a little small but we have a large 5th wheel so everything is small to us when we try to go to campgrounds that are a little older and smaller. So we figured that going in. Bathroom near the playground wasn’t the cleanest. Knocked down a star because of that. I still recommend this place if you’re looking in the Freeport area.

Small family campground minutes from downtown Freeport, ME and LLBean's Flagship store. Staff is very nice and helpful, sites are small, some tricky to get into. We've stayed there twice because of it's proximity to stores, restaurants and hiking.Service: 5/5

Excellent campground! So glad we found Cedar Haven! Spacious cites, plenty of trees. Hot showers at no charge.. Friendly, helpful staff. We stay here as often as we can! Nearby activities: Great hiking nearby Safety: Staff comes around to say hello and see if you need anything

Amazing Cute little campground. We'll definitely be going back. It was a day stop over on our way to Acadia to break up the trip. Wish we had more time there.Rooms: 5/5

Cedar Haven was a great choice of a campground we enjoyed ourselves greatly the cinnamon rolls were heavenly We will be back to camp again
