Cedar Valley Food Runner

First time ordering through EatStreet and my dinner last night never arrived and Eatstreet and the restaurant wouldn't take responsibility. Neither would or they would refund me my money back either. One said the other needed to refund my money. If i could give a 0 I would.

Ordered food shortly after noon and received and email with an estimated delivery time of 12:58. That was enough time for me to eat between clients. By 1:15 when my appointment arrived I still didn’t have my food. I went and finished the appointment that took about 30 minutes and my food still wasn’t there. I pulled up my email around 2:15 and tracked my order and it said it had been delivered an hour earlier. I email the Customer service email since this company doesn’t give you a phone number to call if there are any issues and waited for a response. A coworker found a phone number so I called. The customer service rep found all my info and proceeded to tell me that my delivery driver was off shift and there was nothing she could do. I was very upset because not only had my card been charged and the money taken, but I had missed my lunch and not gotten my food. There had been no attempt to contact me at all and I was basically told sorry about your luck. This is supposed to be an easy and convenient way for you to get food during your busy day, but it was such a hassle and I never got what I ordered. I suggest saving your money and using a different delivery company next time you want to order food.

I had to change the delivery date of my order the night before it was scheduled to deliver, and they were quick to reply to my emails and get things changed for me. My order was delivered on time and hot! I will definitely be using Cedar Valley Food Runner again and would recommend trying it.

Not the CV food runner of old! Do not order if you are counting on your food arriving on time. Agreed to purchase food for delivery at 730.. waited. At 730 we recieved an update that it would not deliver until 830. Called and tried cancel and "Daniel the manager" refused. We will challenging the charge w Visa.

The food arrived 50 minutes later than it was originally promised and it was cold when it got here. The food came in aluminum containers so I had to take the food out, put it on a plate and reheat in the microwave. The type of food I ordered did not reheat well. Plus I paid for extra veggies but I did not get them. There was no information left with the order with a phone number to contact if there were problems with the order. I will not order using EatStreet again.

All too often businesses only hear complaints and what could have been better, however, I just want to say whoever my driver was today, he was fantastic! I think he must have been helping out Mom as she was driving and he brought my order in, but he was just a breath of fresh air! Very polite, thanked me for my order and told me to have a fantastic meal! Seriously - this little man is going places. Thanks for the delivery service!

I use Cedar Valley Food Runner regularly. They are fast, friendly, and they almost always get the order right often times, wrong orders are the restaurant's fault. However, the few times the order was wrong, they were incredible prompt and helpful in addressing the issue. They are a great addition to the Cedar Valley, I would encourage anyone to try them.

I'm done being lazy and using this service. It just takes too long and my food is never hot when I get it. Not sure the routes or timing the drivers use is efficient enough to make this service as good as it could be. Also, I always seem to missing dressings and sauces that are supposed to come with my food. The people picking it up should ensure everything about the order is correct. I'M DONE.

The owner of this place is rude! My office 7 people ordered food and it came 45 minutes late and was ice cold. We gave exact location details and the driver didn't pick up our food from the food place until 20 minutes after the food was done. We had to meet the driver at the door because she couldn't find our office after detailed instructions. I emailed the owner and they said it wasn't their fault and comped $2 per person. They made every excuse in the book on why it was late and had no remorse or care that customers were upset. This was the first and will be the last time I order from these despicable people.

Food runner was great. Then they got acquired by Eatstreet and I don't order much anymore, the main reason is the business I used to pay cash with, only take credit card now. So thanks Eatstreet for screwing not only people like me but your drivers as well because I am less inclined to tip as high as I normally do with my card. I used to work as a delivery driver, I always preferred cash orders because I got 100% of that $5 tip.
