Cedar Valley Trailer Park

If there's any reviews you need to read, it’s this one. DO NOT PURCHASE AT CEDAR VALLEY, 657 THUNDERBRIDGE ROAD. The water is absolutely disgusting, on many occasions you can observe snakes through the piles of bird feces that pollute the river. There’s a ton of boats that rip through the channel because it’s not a ‘no wake zone.’ Like fishing? Well tough luck because there’s nowhere to fish and god forbid you step onto the docks with a rod, you’ll have half of the park up your you know what screaming that they apparently own the dock. Any complaints through the front office are a complete waste of time. The front office manager lady is repulsive and the owner – well he’s no better frankly. Save your money and protect your peace. There are 101 other parks in the area I’d recommend over this SWAMP.

We go to Cedar Valley every year and it's relaxing, yet fun, every single time. There are so many events that the kids enjoy and the cottages are super cute & clean.

Enjoyable. Kids love it here ! Going to the pool is like meeting up with friends every time. Having your own pool doesn’t give you the same feeling as coming here for your summer get aways! It’s a loving family community. Happy faces and always a good laugh !

Cedar Valley is a newer development and with that comes patience! We have been here 3 yrs and it’s a great weekend getaway. Met a lot of nice people. The park is coming along and going in size. Do not regret buying here!

It’s a great place to relax kick-back and enjoy time with family. We always make our own 5 star fun here! Friendly fun and a peaceful place. I like how there is a social committee club that organizes fun events like Christmas in July and Halloween in August !!

Highly recommend Cedar Valley Cottage Resort. Rented a cottage with my 2 kids and had a blast from start to finish of our vacation. Great amenities through and through and super friendly people all around. Super easy to get to as well from any part of the GTA.

We would like to share our experience with Summerhill Resorts Ltd. We purchased a trailer home in 2021 during covid The process was very easy working with Austin, yes there was delays but we understood the times we were in. During that time many amenities were mentioned will be added to the resort.2 yrs of us being there , They added a sports complex court that was it but many many many trailers were added. They promised that the 10ft beach would be swimmable with algae fans , The day we left only turtles/frogs and snakes swim with lots of ALGAE. The pool itself is small and something is always broken or its closed, It is packed with kids so nowhere for adults to enjoy. They promised there would be a second pool aimed towards adults LIES.They said there is a designated fishing dock which again LIES they yell at you or send u silly emails saying don't fish from docks which we understand due to the boats, but they wont open up a fishing dock as promised. This resort you need a boat to get on the water to enjoy.This resort has nothing to do there its BORING part of the reason we left. The CVR community are amazing people we enjoyed meeting and interacting with all. Our site and trailer was great we loved it great workmanship no complaints at all. SHOUT OUT TO GENERAL COACH!!!!!!! The main reason we rated so Low "The Management" is challenging to work with, Staff is like a revolving door many new faces frequently.The nice ones who are willing to help don't last.There is a phone number but no one calls back when you call, They hide behind emails. When we decided to sell they set the price of our unit below valuewhich they said is fair market value so it doesn't affect their new sales.They wont help you or do anything once you decided to sell. Also when you sell you have to pay them 8k plus hst FOR WHAT? NOTHING BUT GREED. we lost over 20k with this 2 yr bad investment.We paid our Yearly fee in full before the season began however; when we sold our trailer they want the 8k plus hst money to be paid in full before they credit our seasonal fee back. We are not disputing the 8k greed money but we want our credit to be applied to that greed money and we will pay the difference. We were billed the greed money but they wont work with us to apply the credit, the email stating NO! this is policy no exception they want the money but wont provide a credit. After reading many reviews from other previous owners and BBB it is not a priority to refund therefore, we will stand our ground till credit is applied to The GREED MONEY. This is a basic rule in accounting to apply all credits before issuing a final bill. BUYERS/SELLERS BEWARE!!!!!!! SUMMERHILL IS NIGHTMARE TO DEAL WITH.

Love our Cedar Valley Cottage. We have met some really great people and love our home away from home. Change takes time and the changes they have been made already has made the future changes very exciting and optimistic.

The owners seem to value profit over people. They have promised for 2 years to cut trees that are dead leaning over a few family owned trailers. It has not been done as of yet. Last year a large branch fell on a family's deck missing 2 small children by minutes. Terrified that there will be catastrophic injury as a result of the negligence I am witnessing. Note* they do not hesitate to remove trees to put a new trailer in for sale!

My parents have a cottage here and I thoroughly enjoy each moment I spend up here. The amenities are fun and there is never a dull moment in the park!
