Center Lake

Went to a summer concert just to walk around. I was HOLDING our tiny chihuahua and some kid, maybe 17 came from by the stage to tell me “no dogs”. My family and I were visibly annoyed but said we’d continue around the sidewalk and head to our vehicle. I then stopped to talk to a CITY COP that I know who had no problem with our dog or any other of the dogs behaving in the lawn. As soon as I was done and walking away from him, here comes some girl in a parks department shirt telling us we need to leave with our dog right now. We were not more than 10 feet away from 3 other small dogs. I asked if she was going to go after them like she did to us, and she said there was no way for her to monitor all the people and then walked away without talking to any of the other dog owners. .. DO BETTER CENTER LAKE. Winona is nicer any way! AND dogs are way better behaved and cleaner than half the people you have on that lawn!

Center lake park is a good destination for all kinds of summer fun. It has a large playground area, a pier and diving board in the swimming area and lots of open space for family picnics in the park.
