This corporation was formed for the following purposes: to operate exclusively as a charitable and educational organization; to educate the public about auto racing by recognizing, honoring and preserving the legacy of the great drivers, mechanics, crew members, promoters, officials, track owners and other individuals who have made major contributions to the success of the sport.
