Definitely don’t recommend. So called teachers don’t teacher good. Everyone there is some how family so if you complain about something they won’t do anything. Everything about this so called school is unprofessional.
The instructors are very knowledgeable. Alex is a little too technical, John was a lot easier to relate to and soak up information when I had him a couple of days Alex was out. Unfortunately the way they are set up for placing students to get their xrays done is a mess, which is the biggest part of the program in my opinion. For the out of town students from the central valley they only have about 4 locations. I am from Selma and they made me wait about a year to find me a place to get my chest xrays done, and the facility they put me in was in Bakersfield of all places. Almost 1.5 hrs away....and going there you are not guaranteed you're going to get a qualifying xray to mark off. There were days I was there for 8hrs and didn't get 1. It's a family owned business so there is sometimes family bickering there. The grandmother jacky applebee seems to undermine her grandson Alex. They have about 12 pre finals, and their final is a bit much at around 700 questions where the state exam is 150. 8 out of 10 students have to cheat the test in order to pass. If they like you they may allow someone who's passed the final to go into a closed room and help you....or if you get them a place to send their students they may pass you without even taking the the 700 question final. At the end of the day, I would not recommend this school to anyone
I do not recommend for similar reasons Chris posted about. Yes I graduated, yes I got a job. BUT, I was woefully under prepared, under trained, and they do not have the accreditation to let you take the most widely used and comprehensive national exam for MAs because their training is not comprehensive enough. This made my internship and first job an absolute nightmare. I had to improvise and learn on the job so many things, because I never got to practice them, or they never went over them comprehensively enough. They wouldn't let MALE MAs practice EKG on female students. When I went to my first internship, almost every EKG I had to do was on a female. This made things super awkward and getting the anatomy right was very hard. This lessened opportunities for me to gain experience and caused the patients to doubt my capabilities which made my job much harder. The NCCT is a joke don't get me started. It is as bare bones as it gets. Yes it is hard to pass, but that is because they add artificially difficult questions, and out of the scope of practice questions to the test to make it so most have a difficult time and barely pass. Find a good school that has a EMR lab and is much better. Don't become an MA it is a horrible career choice, we work as much as a LVN but get paid far less, and don't take the xray program because you will never find anywhere that will let you take xrays for your internship. It is crazy. P.S. not my real name P.s.s the medical industry sucks don't go into it unless you are super motivated to become a nurse or above
Please please do not attend this school. This school is known by employers and hospitals all throughout Kings county, Fresno county , and Tulare county for its bad reputation. No employer will hire anyone that attended this school especially for ultrasound. Any of the positive reviews are fake and are from People who work there. Go to any other school but this one if you really want a successful career
I went here a few years ago as a single mom and I loved it. The staff was amazing and I got job offers before I even graduated! Highly recommend this place to single parents!
Great staff and instructors. I attended about 10 years ago. I would not be where I’m at today if it wasn’t for CCSCE.
Very rude and disrespectful phone receptionist staff. Hope this is not reflective of the school culture towards students and partners.
I've been graduated for 10 months and I still can't find a job
