We have called the new patient intake line multiple times to try and get an appointment. No luck. No one calls us back either. Don't bother trying to get an appointment, they just don't answer. We've been trying for the better part of 4 months now. We'll be going elsewhere.
It makes me sad to read everyone reviews but I'm glad I'm not the only one dealing with this. I understand it has been a hard year for everyone but this is to much. I work in customer service and take care of alot people so I understand but whenever I need to make appointment for anything it's impossible because the person who answers the phone clearly doesn't care to set up appointments. This needs to change its not right for people to have to deal with poor customer service and get no help.
I was seeing a nurse practitioner, Tracy Edwards, at this office for 9 yrs. I ended up missing 2 appointments because I was heavily pregnant and had a ride issue and I was dismissed from my doctor. I was horribly upset because I really really liked my doc and I had been seeing her for so long that she really knew me. The staff is horribly rude and some of the doctors assistants/nurses have no people skills whatsoever. I also had issues with medication refills. It's like the staff had no clue that if you are on a dosage of meds for a long period of time and then stop it suddenly,your body reacts to that especially if it's an antidepressant. In some cases withdrawals from meds can cause medical emergencies but these people don't care. All in all, horrible customer/client relations, but I did like my health care proffesional.
Literally the worst customer/patient service I've ever received. A few months ago it took me two weeks to get a refill issued for a prescription that I should have had a years worth of refills for. Today, I called around 11 to get an appointment because I've been sick for a couple weeks. I got a call around noon to confirm what I told them in the message I left and to be told a nurse would call me "shortly". Three hours later, I get a call telling me they cant schedule me until Thursday at the earliest its Monday. I'm curious as to why the first person that called me couldnt have given me this information so that I could go to urgent care and be done with all this. Instead I waited for them for four hours so they could tell me I couldn't get an appointment for four days. These are just two examples of the awful experiences I've had with this company. I would not recommend them to anyone.
The service is terrible. My Dr. is never available. My appointment that was made a year ago was cancelled on the day of the appointment and told the Dr. was not in the office......no other explanation. Oh yeah, it was a holiday. Then when I tried to reschedule, I would have to have waited 2 months... In the middle of winter. No thank you. So I had to see a Nurse Practitioner. This is not ok for an annual check up. I am a long time patient and it is impossible to get another dr. I am totally dissatisfied with your service.
If your looking for a drs office keep looking years ago they were amazing but over the last couple the service has gone way down! Nearly impossible to reach anyone no matter how important hold times take at least 30 mins and that is just to leave a message with someone and wait for a call back which you didnt want to do which is why you stayed on hold instead of choosing call back option. Then cross your fingers to get a call back that day again no matter how important. The des and practinoners are great but you cant get to them appointments made annuals and others are often canceled and nearly impossible to reschedule in a reasonable time frame. Example sick kid tried getting in since 8am finally walked in and got an appointment for an hour later mind you still had no call back ran into problem with pharmacy and prescription called on hold forever and then told had to wait for call back....3 hours later still waiting despite urgency and now have already missed a dosage should have given and looking like may miss next one if not whole days worth! I am sorry but there is NO way everyone is that busy a parent of a sick kid is waiting to speak to someone and get him help for 3+ hours and if they truly are time to get some more help! we will be looking for a new family dr for my crew one that is actually available when needed or at least in a more reasonable time frame frame 6 1/2 hrs dealing with this and still waiting
I’ve been going here for as long as I can remember and honestly service here is just bad.. takes forever to get through to anyone ever and they can’t even get the job done. I’ll call for a prescription refill and it’s always an ordeal. Dr is not in today and won’t be back for god knows how long it she is busy. It takes TWO MINUTES of your life to just say yes refill the meds I’ve also gone in for my appointment on time and sat in the room NOT the waiting room for an hour bored out of my mind and not even a sorry. My doctors nice and easy to talk to but I get the feeling she doesn’t care all that much about my health issues and getting down to solving them. Was told to get an ultra sound and so I did, $600 and all I got was a letter saying they found nothing. lol. Joke.
I just need to say that Angelica Estes-Lebrun a new PCP for CMFP is a very thorough dr. She really listens to what you have to say and follows thru to all of your concerns. It so rare to find a dr that really listens and truly cares about her patients. She is truly a 5 star dr.
I would definitely not recommend this practice to anyone. I broke my back in 3 different places and Dr Thorpe was my Dr at the time. I was in excruciating pain and she flat out refused to give me anything for pain. I had to keep going back and forth to the e.r. it was horrible and so is she. Not a good Dr at all!!
Front desk staff is extremely rude, and not helpful. Don’t waste your time trying to have a civil conversation with them because it will lead nowhere.
