Dr. Davis accused me of “dictating” what he should give me. That was completely out of line. Instead, he should have had a conversation with me and maybe, I don’t know, LISTEN to the person who actually has the mental illness. All I did was suggest two medicines that I know have worked in the past. He jumped down my throat like I’m some pill seeking junky. And then told me to get a new doctor. Who does that?!?! So unprofessional.

They are always trying to find a way to find other ways for you to get other services else where.
Horrible experience. I have been homeless and trying to get my case transferred to NY. They didn't provide me with a therapist and it has been 2 weeks since my level of care intake! Couldn't even get my meds transferred to NY because "the Dr doesn't have a license in NY" Unacceptable and very horrible services.
I was a patient at CBH for about six years. While I can appreciate how underfunded and understaffed the mental health sector is, my experience at Central was actively detrimental to my mental health. I would spend upwards of an hour waiting for my scheduled appointments. This was consistent over the years I spent at Central and did not get much better during the switch to telemedicine. I was discharged in December 2022 for inactivity while I was in a partial hospitalization program. As I had no way to access my medication, I against my better judgment tried to schedule a new intake. I was told that they no longer accept private insurance, and refused to schedule me although I am also on Medicaid. I would advise anybody considering Central Behavioral that it isn’t worth it unless it is your literal last resort.
I was on and off going to central since 2010.just recently I wanted to get back into therapy but their intake process is horrible.you have to wait from 9am-2pm mon-Thurs and 9am -12pm on Fridays. U can go in and wait but it's not guaranteed u will be seen.u can wait on dox on ur phone tablet or computer all day but soon as ur device goes to sleep they log u out and u lose ur spot.they let me know that they were full once my laptop went to sleep after waiting since 9am.the services is horrible and the front desk is rude.they were not like this years ago and I enjoyed going there and thats why I wanted to return but after the rude service.i will not and will not recommend them mental health is serious and a lot of the ppl in there don't ha e a phone let alone a computer to even do the end take process ro help themselves.they might not even have a ride to get there just to sit there and wait all day not to be seen unbelievable and I'm disgusted by all Montgomery county.since they are so about mental health but treat the ppl with such disrespect.CENTRAL BEHAVIOR HEALTH IS HORRIBLE IN THE WAY THEY TREAT PPL
I like this treatment center very much and my doctor is great! I highly recommend this treatment facility. Good luck recovering people and take your meds...
From my experience as mental health residential employee. Theses people are racist, unprofessional, and immature. Especially Jill, and her co-workers. They have no concern for helping the Norristown community. They are not here to help! And the black people who work there are hidden in the basement. "Vengeance is of the Lord"
Through the IOP and individual therapy, I LITERALLY got my life back and it is a beautiful life worth living, in every single moment! Shout out to therapists Lucie H, Claire M, Andrea H, and Gary K. They saw me and then guided me so I could see… Deeply grateful
I have a doctor with a thick accent and can't understand half of the words he is saying. I got so frustrated from saying can you repeat that, 3 to 4 times every sentence he says and and still not understanding what he is trying to say. Horrible with calling in prescription medications. If you call be prepared to wait days for a phone call back
