Best place in NYC to take a break
Central Park in NYC is a heartwarming haven where dreams come alive. It's a joyful chorus of wagging tails as dogs play among welcoming faces. The tranquil lake mirrors the happiness of cyclists exploring winding paths. The zoo's excitement adds a touch of whimsy, and the charming bridges are gateways to enchantment. Amidst lush greenery, Central Park is a masterpiece of delight, where each visit paints a new stroke of happiness in the bustling city
Amazing back to nature experience. Vast types of trees, ponds and bushes. Bathrooms and benches available. Turtles and squirrels galore. Good for walkers and bike riders. Maps or GPS recommended as their isnt a lot of signs. Playground: Lots of playgrounds Picnic area: Lots of picnic areas.
The park is so expansive, I only scratched the surface. I look forward to exploring more of the park in the future. On this trip I just wanted to sit in the shade and watch the birds and butterflies and dragonflies. By chance even a small turtle. Very serene and beautiful. The perfect way to spend a relaxing afternoon. Peaceful and stress free.
Central Park is out of this world! My favorite part of my New York trip was biking the beautiful bike path of Central Park. It is a one way road, for BIKES! I would get my food in my backpack and find a nice calm area to sit and eat. Enjoying the beautiful scenery and tranquility is something everyone needs to experience at least once in their lives. The Park is EXTREMELY clean considering the massive size and location within a concrete jungle. Bethesda Fountain is a marvel and such a beautiful area!
Fantastic. Very enjoyable to walk around and explore. You can be as active or lazy as you want. Some bikers are rude to anyone who slows them down. I guess that is to be expected anywhere. I highly recommend reading about and mapping your trip through the park to see all the hidden gems. Very clean. Very shady. Lots of relaxing green space. Lots of activities. Very safe during the day. Kid-friendly. Family-friendly. Easy to get lost in a good way! Playground: Large. Open. Safe. Joyous. Restrooms: Hard to find. Dog-friendliness: Very dog friendly. Leash rules are in effect.

mean it’s Central Park! Listen, I was optimistic about ever going to the city, but the opportunity can about and I jumped on it. Best decision ever!! It’s only something I feel can be experienced in person. Pictures do not do justice! Central Park was amazing! It’s crazy how you can be in the park and not hear the city at all beside a faint siren, but other than that you almost forget your in a big city…. Walked it from top to bottom and still did not see everything. Plenty of places to sit down and relax and just take it all in… Listen, if you have ever thought about going… DO IT!! I did a bus trip from Bowman bus services and was not disappointed at all. Make the trip Playground: mean it’s Central Park! Lovely green space right in the city centre, great place to get away and relax enjoy the peace and serenity. You can walk cycle E scooter and use horse carts , we chose to use scooters , it was fab , there is a one way system for cyclists and scooters Loves it best way to navigate around , it take about an hour to navigate the park, if you want stops add accordingly! It was great place to be and would go back again Playground: A few about on the park area Restrooms: Yes a few about you can use free ! Dog-friendliness: Yes keep on the leash Picnic area: Kids about benches and grass
The only man made park that’s so beautiful and clean, we visit every year and spend at least 3-4 hours in the park. Visiting the lake and the Strawberry Fields is one of the few things that is worth, the battery powered rickshaws are not cheap but you can negotiate with them. Best time is around evenings as in summertime its nice cool area. Parking is only on Sunday free and if you find one.
