Central Park is such a surreal place. You can see the sky scrapers beyond the trees, so magical! My only complaint is I fell off the slide and hurt my back.
Very pretty and green...you may even catch a kids baseball game.
The little loved playing here and it’s close to our house
A pretty meh park but could be improved through better gardening, more benches, and a bigger play area.
What a beautiful park. Huge brand new playground that my two kids highly enjoyed! The grass was lush and green. There were a couple of baseball diamonds there. What a nice place!
Good place to go and think
Pretty good. Large park with baseball diamond and brand new playground. Could use a few more picnic tables for larger parties.
Smaller, but pretty shady. There are a pair of baseball diamonds, a jungle gym, and a smattering picnic tables.

This park is one of the WORST parks in Idaho Falls. From all the dog poop, to the many discarded needles, to the never-ending supply of broken beer bottle glass that lines the sidewalks. This park is located between the Bel Aire and the Capitol Hill Addition areas, well known for low-income and lots of bars and lots of drugs. Capitol Hill Addition has a half-dozen bars within easy walking distance for all the low-income people who have too many DUI's to drive to the downtown bars. Central Park is right in the middle between the residential section and the commercial section where so many bars are located. In an effort to reduce how many drunks sat in the park tossing bottles into the grass, the city of Idaho Falls decided to remove the picnic tables from this park. This did cut down on how many bottles and needles get left in the grass, but there are two baseball diamonds and the drunks and druggies just go sit at the baseball seating now. At least this keeps most of the glass and needles in the corners of the park, thus leaving the grass areas with much fewer sharp hazards for dogs, so it is easier for dog owners to let their dogs fill up the grass areas with poop. The problem is that now, even if you want to risk the dog poop, the needles, and the broken glass, there is now NO PLACE TO SIT if you want to go read in the park. I called the city and they suggested I bring a blanket to sit on. SERIOUSLY? Throw a blanket down on the poop and glass, and just HOPE I don't miss any needles under my blanket? Instead of removing the picnic tables, and rendering the park USELESS for most adults during the day, perhaps the city should have considered increasing police patrols at night when the problems occur? As it is now, the only thing people use this park for during the day is some little league games during baseball season, and a place for dogs to poop.
