I had an agreement with a previous mgr in Boise for my roommates storage unit. I received 2 certified letters of late fees of close to 300. Furious I contacted them.  Multiple times. Then Meridian mgr. SUZANNE. Reached out to Me. She took care of the Late fees,filing fees and such.  Finally. Someone stepped up to the plate honored a previous agreement even tho I was in motion to move his family things to another facility. I will sustain his personal things with their facility. Well when you need a new Storage Company they have locations in Star Caldwell Meridian Boise Nampa

Every time I call whether it's to pay my husbands storage or to ask questions, I can never get an answer. When I do get an answer I get put on hold and it hangs up on me because I'm on there for so long it times out and hangs up. I have never seen or heard of a storage facility charge so much for late fees, $15 a week is absurd, that's up to an extra $60 a month on a unit. I so can't wait till I can get my husbands things out of this place.

Not a review for business just for employee would give Kayleen a 10 out of 10. Kayleen is absolutely amazing and is a true advocate for the customer, very professional , understanding and full of integrity! She holds her ground and fights for the customers. Justin with Penske has been a Royale pain sending us to 3 different location after releasing our reserved truck to some one that said they where picking it up for us, and instead of verifying they just rescheduled our pick up, pushing some one else out of there reservation then creating a shell game of trucks and making everyone have a hard time down the line. Still not resolved on the truck but Kayleen was amazing whole reason for this review

Changed the Gate Hours from 10PM to 8PM. However Manager still lets shady customers live out of their storage units and sleep inside the gates overnight. Even after customer complaints. Yes they are still there too. I had absolutely no confidence in the security of my stored items.

They were positively amazing helping us with our out of state move. With COVID, we had to make so many changes to our reservation and also what we needed...they were so professional & helpful...we got the exact space we needed the day we needed it...how can you ask for more....a huge shout out to Susan and Kayleen...we did a lot of phone calling back and forth to get everything done...thank you, thank you, thank you!

Yep, just like another person reviewed.  Every 7 months they raise your rates by over 10% each time.  Started at $116 for my unit a year ago and now at $141.  My unit is currently listed on their website for $119 and I've been paying $128 for the last 6 months.  Called manager and was lied to saying it's "industry standard" to do this and that they review every 7 months and adjust according to current market rates.  Not true.  I have another storage unit elsewhere for almost 2 years and not a single increase.  I've had other storage units in the past for many years and I think I got maybe one modest rate increase in my lifetime.  Market rates don't rise 20% per year anywhere.  STAY AWAY from this place unless you budget in 20% rate increases every 14 months.

Beware of this place!  I pay on time each month for a 10× 10 unit.  In one year they have raised the rent from $72.00 a month, then $97.00 a month and now I got a notice that September 1 they are raising the rent to $107.  a month.  They have zero customer loyalty!

This was a horrible experience! We set up weeks prior to moving here....1st month free and they did not follow through. Even though there is a huge sign on the fence, we were told that they couldn't provide this. We had a 24' foot truck in the driveway ready to unload after driving hours. Customer service was ridiculously rude and unaccommodating. What were we to do?! We took our service elsewhere. We found Cloverdale storage who was AMAZING! And 1/2 the cost. Central storage still charged us the deposit and said we couldn't get it back even after not giving us the 1st month's free rent which would have been $100. We would never recommend service here! Customer service is everything....

My daughter stored her whole home's items at Central Self Storage. After a month her apartment was ready. We rented a truck from them that day and the whole experience was awesome! Very professional and friendly.The nicest storage unit I have seen!
